Parents Magazine Cover Contest Reader's Choice Process

Once you successfully upload your photo, you'll receive an email that says your photo is ready for Reader's Choice Voting on Monday* of the following week. Forward this e-mail to your family and friends to vote daily for your cutie until the following Sunday*.

If your photo receives the most votes during that week, you'll be one of 12 Reader's Choice semi-finalists.

All 12 Reader's Choice Semi-Finalists will be placed in a 2nd voting app starting on or around July 7, 2011. Voting is live for 1 week on parents.com, ending on or around July 14.

The 10 finalists (the Reader's Choice Winner and 9 picked by our editors) will participate in a photo shoot in NYC on or around August 9th.

Monday* Explanation: Entrants who submit their contest entry during the week until 9:00 p.m. CST on Saturday night will show up in Photo Faves during the following week, with voting starting early Monday morning. Users will receive an email on this day. If entrants submit their contest entry from 9:01 p.m. CST on Saturday night through 9:00pm CST the following Saturday, their photo will be in Photo Faves the week after, and so on.

Sunday* Explanation: Voting is open from Monday Morning at 12:00 a.m. CST until the following Sunday night at 11:59 p.m. CST. Users will receive an email on Monday morning with a link to their photo.

WK 1: For contest entries submitted between 4/3 when contest opens and 4/9 at 9:00 p.m. CST, the Photo Faves voting period begins 4/11 12:00 a.m. CST and ends 4/17 at 11:59 p.m. CST

WK 5: For contest entries submitted between 4/30 at 9:01 p.m. CST and 5/7 at 9:00 p.m. CST, the Photo Faves voting period begins 5/9 12:00 a.m. CST and ends 5/15 11:59 p.m. CST

WK 6: For contest entries submitted between 5/7 9:01 p.m. CST and 5/14 at 9:00 p.m. CST, the Photo Faves voting period begins 5/16 12:00 a.m. CST and ends 5/22 11:59 p.m. CST
