I don't know if you're still looking for tips but when I workout I typically like classes.  While the rest of class is doing ab work, I'll do planks or spine strengthening exercises.  I'm 22 weeks and I feel like I don't have any of the pain that I had by this point already with my first pregnancy.  Here are a few good ones to try:
