Summer nanny - where to find

Hi there

I'm actually a nanny, not a parent and I came here looking for some guidance.

I'm a nanny from the UK looking for a job in NYC for this summer but I have no idea where to look. I've checked Craigslist but am a bit worried about it and Greataupair.com, but that seems to have more long term positions.

Is there anywhere else I can look?

I've been an au pair in the US 10 years ago when it all started! Then I was an au pair in Germany, one year in the UK and have been a nanny since but it's time for a break from London.

I'm first aid certified, speak English, Portuguese and German, am pretty chilled yet very responsible and have plenty of references!

Re: Summer nanny - where to find

If you google "find a nanny" you will see several services online you can sign up with so parents can find you :smileyhappy:

I think you can also sign up on Care.com to advertise yourself, not sure if it costs money or not, check it out.
