Preschool Curriculum

Do any of you use a pre-packaged preschool curriculum with your kids?

I currently use the Star-Brite Learning Program and love it!

You get 20 days of material with 100 activities for the month...all of the instructions, paper products, and craft items are included.

Curious to know which other programs people are using!

Re: Preschool Curriculum

We home educate and use "Horizons" from Pre-K through 2nd grade. Reading and phonics as well as Math. After that it's "Life of Fred" for math and other subjects that are covered here and there in that series. The books go all the way from pre-k (it's read to the child from like age 3 until they can read themselves. Reads like a story so it's easy to comprehend and get the math principles at the same time. When the child learns to read they start over and actually write out their work) through collage calc. We also have the Apologia curriculum for science and Bible for history. We also use Rosetta Stone for foreign language, Latin. Not to mention all the extras our kids get to do without being burnt out because they have so much time on their hands. Out oldest @ home (10) spends about an hour a day on lessons and she's done.

Re: Preschool Curriculum

We start home educating our children from birth. It's very rewarding and worth!

Re: Preschool Curriculum

For our preschool age daughter, we do not follow a curriculum. We do lots of interactive play.

If I am on top of my game, I try and make every moment a teachable moment.
