I don't know if this will help with my child I try to add more fruit and vegitables to her diet we also go for a evening walk together after supper.

I find that children and especially older kids, grow in cycles. Out and then up lol They get a little chunkier and then one day they wake up and they have grown two inches and their pants are high waters. If you are preparing healthy meals and hes eating well, I wouldn't worry too much about it. But you could always consult his pediatrician if you're very worried about it.
