Re: will it hurt a baby to get a tattoo at 4 months pregnant

My husband is a tattoo artist. There's a reason they don't tattoo pregnant women. First of all, there are risks with tattooing. Read the consent form, there are a lot. Any risk to you is a riak to your baby. Also, while you are pregnant your body will take care of the baby first. That's why so many women have dental problems and bleeding gums during pregnancy. Your risk of infection will be higher. You are a parent now. Take care of your child and wait 6 months to get your tattoo.

You should be more concerned with the baby you are carrying instead of a tattoo. You are a parent now, it's time to grow up and be responsible.

When your pregnant your body is focused on nourishing the baby before itself. It doesn't heal wounds as well. If you want your tattoo to look nice I would wait a few months after having the baby when the hormones are calmed down, otherwise your tattoo will get choppy and faded pretty fast.

A tattoo should not be on your list of priorities right now. First, talk to ur parents so you can obtain proper prenatal care. If you do not plan on keeping the child, consult your local reputable adoption agency or planned parenthood. You are now responsible for bringing another human being into this world who is helpless and defenseless. Put your big girl panties on, talk to your parents and get your priorities straight.
