Supplements

Not too much longer!!  I'm only 3.5 weeks away since I'm due the 3rd.  My midwife recommended taking something called "Gentle Birth Formula" to help my body prepare for labor (doesn't cause labor to start).  I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of it or used it in the past.  Also, is anyone else taking any supplements or anything to get ready for the big day?

Re: Supplements

been eating dates, from friends and doctors they say they make your labor shorter. It's worth a shot!

Re: Supplements

I've heard of a lot of people taking evening primrose oil to help with early dilation and effacement and Red Raspberry Leaf (usually a tea).  I'm not positive what the raspberry does, but I think it can give you stronger braxton hicks to prepare for labor (helps give you stronger contractions so they do more with each contraction).  Of course, stuff like this should be run by your dr first just in case.
