Ovulation

Hello mommies. I just found out on Oct 15, 2013 that I'm pregnant :smileyvery-happy: Now after I had my son over 3 years ago my cycle has been very different. It used to be every 30 days. Now it's can be anywhere from 23-28 days. The pass three months my cycle was 7/31, 8/27. 9/20. I would like to know when was ovulation? Do I go by the 28 day cycle or a different number?

Re: Ovulation

typically ovulation occurs in women on their own schedule. A woman's period between when she starts bleeding the first day of her period and when she ovulates can very by cycle (and often does based on stress levels) but the period of time from the date of ovulation until she begins her period is consistent. This is called the luteal phase. If you haven't charted, it is very difficult to determine exactly when you've ovulated. You will probably get an ultrasound to better estimate the baby's due date. Ultrasounds around 8-12 weeks are VERY accurate.
