Hello all. I'm 28 years-old and my husband and I have just hit the two year mark in trying to get pregnant. I am healthy, have regular periods, ovulate regularly, and all my hormone tests have come back regular. His sperm count is regular as well. I am currently into my second bottle of ConceiveEasy and have yet to see results. My gyn wants me to wait another 4 months until she sends me to a specialist because she believes this can happen naturally, but two years of TTC indicates something is wrong. I'm tired of getting my hopes up every month to be disappointed... Currently crying as I'm typing this. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I'm so sorry to hear you so sad about this. I know how hard this sort of thing can be.
There is one more bit of advice that my doctor gave me when I was trying to get pregnant.....
Have sex every other day.
Worry less about getting pregnant and more about making sex with your husband a fun thing. I know, easier said than done when you want to be pregnant so badly!
You can do one of two things. You can get a second opinion or you can take doctor up on waiting the four months and see what happens. Use that four months to pretend like its your honeymoon because once baby is finally here, things will change
I'm so sorry to hear about this! I know how painful this can be. My doctor told me to see a specialist after 9 months of trying - that is standard protocol. They would probably start you with IUIs which are pretty painless and not too expensive. That may be all you need.
I went through 9 IUIs and 4 IVFs and now have an amazing son. My only regret is not stopping after IUI #5 and going to see an IVF specialist. I wasted way too much time, tears, frustration, ovulation sticks, pregnancy sticks and Kleenex! Nothing can be lost by talking to a specialist if for nothing other than learning more info.
