Alix: It usually does get worse the first semester, the second semester most women feel great and energetic..which is why its called the "honeymoon stage". The third trimester brings the tired feelings back. its just your body's way of making sure baby is getting enough energy to grow and flourish. I'd be worried if you didnt feel tired! I was useless for the first 3-4 months of pregnancy at work.. then the last month I couldnt do much either. Just try to go with the flow and do what you can. If they want to be dingalings about it, talk to your OB and see what they can do for you as well concerning work and etc.
I dont think Im going to continue the bcp, i really want to, but when i saw how my body reacted, I just feel cautious. Dr M. doesnt think i'd do good with the mini pill either, for 2 reasons. Its progestin only (which was Mirena's ingredient) and then the whole "has to be taken at the same time everyday" routine that I tend to forget, even with alarms set on my phone. lol. Guess DH and I will have to be more careful about how we use protection (ie.. actually using it..lol) . Idk.

Brie what kind of bc are you on? with Len I was put on the mini pill, but never used it. I wanted to see how long it would take me to get af. It took almost 13 months. But Len was nursing a lot even then.
Still in limbo here. Think my period is gping to come this weekend so I dont have my next on my birthday. If I get af tomorrow I will be on cd 2 or 3 on my birthday if I go back to normal.
Hello everyone! How is everything?

Simone: Dr. M gave me a combo pill, Lo Loestrin Fe dosage = 1mg/10mcg. She said its relatively new, but was recently approved for breastfeeding moms who had an established milk supply. i could feel the difference in mine after day 1 of taking it.. at first i didnt, but the next day towards afternoon hours, Layla could barely get anything out of me. Maybe its approved for breastfeeding moms who still EBF in those early stages, but I think it affects me because of the fact that layla doesnt EBF anymore since being introduced to solids. Not sure. Either way, I stopped it and my supply has gone right back to what it was. We didnt feel the mini pill would be a good fit for me with my memory issues and since its progestin only and thats what Mirena has and I bled constantly on that. So, DH and I are just going to temp (although he doesnt believe me when I say "I O'd!, we're ok now".. he doesnt think that you can possibly know when you are fertile or not. MEN! lol) and use protection. I am also having to hunt down latex free condoms now as well since apparently Im mildly allergic to that. >_> Have you ever heard of Lo Loestrin FE and BF'ing? I couldnt find anything
Alix: Migraine = not good! Have you tried the chiro for that? Especially now that you are PG..it may help if it didnt before. Your body reacts totally different PG..lol. Call your OB and explain your migraine situation to them as well, they may be able to tell you if its ok to take it or not, they have a list. Besides, thats what you pay them for!

Hey ladies. Got my labs drawn yesterday and of course as expected my cholesterol is high. Not overweight just genetically screwed on that one. My primary doc said the FSH and estrogen looked normal, but will default to the infertility specialist for that. I didn't get those numbers, but they are mailing them to me. I need to call the pharmacy to have them fill my clomid from last month I didn't take.
Brie- Glad you got the mini pill. Even though it's important to take at the same time everyday...if you are worried you can't you can still try to use condoms or maybe a diaphragm? Good luck with school. @ more after this isn't bad at all!
Simone- Hope you're doing well!
Alix- I bet your excited for you first US. Soon, soon, soon!
Isra- Hope you are settling into your new place better now!
