Pre-Natal Yoga

I was wondering which is better for pre-natal yoga, buying a DVD or going to a studio.

Buying a DVD - A lot cheaper, I can do it when I want to do it, it will get boring

Studio Yoga - In person instruction, meet other soon to be moms, expensive

Re: Pre-Natal Yoga

I guess there are pros and cons to both like you mentioned.  I would think going to an actual studio/live class would be fun since you get to meet other expectant Moms which also means possibly making new friends :smileyhappy:

Not an endorsement but... I love free!  There are a couple prenatal videos on this site, just choose prenatal as the style :smileyhappy:

Re: Pre-Natal Yoga

Hi there! I would suggest  Shiva Rea's  Prenatal Yoga DVD. This DVD offers  safe instruction for all 3 trimesters and is very gentle. Out of the four Prenatal Fitness DVDs I have. I practice with this one most. If you have a never practiced yoga before then maybe it is a good idea to take a class with an instructor for safe instruction. if time, finances, schedule, distance or weather are an issue then this is a great dvd to work with.  Again, I cannot stress how gentle this dvd is. There are alot of reviews on Amazon also.

I have been practicing yoga for quite some time and Im a belly dance instructor and performer.

Hope this helps! Congrats on your little one and have a radiant pregnancy!

Warmly,

Kandice
