Epidural or no?

Do you plan on getting an epidural or are you going natural?

Re: Epidural or no?

I'm. Going natural- I want my baby to be ready and healthy with no complications. My Ob told me that every woman is different, I'm going natural... I'll only use the epidural if things get complicated:smileyhappy:

Re: Epidural or no?

My doc induced me this morning at 5:30am and I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl this evening at 4pm! I got an epidural- my contractions were definitely the worst pain I have ever suffered!m:smileysad: but the epidural took it all away sand numb me from the middle of my back to my toes- I thank god for creating the genius who discovered epidural!

Re: Epidural or no?

I planned to get one eventually. I just wanted to see how far I could go w out one. (Like going to the dentist w out Novocain)
Well, by the time I got to the hospital in the middle of the night, there was no time. So no epidural. My OB did numb me down there. So I didn't feel the ring of fire or the episiotomy.
We have a happy baby boy!
