desperate mommy

hi everybody well my question is lets see if you guys can help me out. I have a 2 month old and was breastfeeding him for about a month, then stopped since i stopped i started smoking but now with this gov issue i want to start breastfeeding again when i hand express just enough milk comes out to cover my nipple but Would it be ok to start again? Also how long would i have to wait for the "bad milk" to reduce so to speak?? please help :smileyfrustrated:

A lot of people have been able to successfullyrestart breast feeding. IMO Smoking won't affect the milk he gets any more than the risk he's already being exposed to through second hand smoke. Pumping, increasing caloric intake and water, and then placing baby on the breast as often as you can
