Really a nice topic started here and I am glad to here these stories too. Because when a baby or a kid is adopted by any one then a new story is started. A story of love, affection and bond between them. And every child deserve love and affection. They also bring happiness in the world of those parents who don't have their own child.

im a foster child and possibly preggers...iDO DO NOT RECOMMEND IT...EVER!!!!!!!!!! you have no idea who you chld is going to....i was abused....i gaurentee you will be a good parent..(unless you have no job nor home nor means of supporting the child....and if you do choose adoption...LOOK CAREFULLY. background checks.....everything you can do to ensure your child is safe.......

I personally adopted a baby girl a year back and I think its the best decision I have made in my life. Bringing an angel at home in the form of kid was the time when an added happiness arrived in our family. Lucy came when we were lacking the happy element and it all came back to us on her arrival.

we adopted a baby last year and i can't express how much we love this little guy. He really is the apple of our eye! we've had a rough time with him as he was quite sick for the first few months - it took several visits and several different treatments before they got it right. it seems he has a form of baby asthma which he is likely to outgrow but now he is well and apart from his terrible sleeping - he's an absolute delight.
i do agree though - make sure that the agency you use is reputable and that you know exactly what your government requires before they are totally in your name.
we had a very good experience but not everyone is that lucky. Do your homework, make sure you know the process - don't just rely on your agency to tell you.
don't take short cuts - follow the process, it maybe slower than you like, but slow and steady wins the race..
