What Is Special Ed? A Cool Infographic for Special Education Month

If you have a child who’s in a special education classroom, you know all about the world of special ed (sometimes, too much so). But if you don’t, you might not have a good sense of what exactly special ed is, or what a means to be a kid in it. The field has changed a lot since you were a child.
Curious to know what sort of treatment your child’s schoolmates with special needs are getting? September is Special Education Month. In honor of it, the team over at the Rossier School of Education at University of Southern California put together this Special Education 101 Infographic. If you are a parent of a kid with special needs, consider sharing it with family and friends.

Thanks for the heads up Cheryl! I am working with our content editor to fix the misspellings. Once they are fixed, this page should also be fixed after being refreshed. Sorry about this!
