Here’s my spending summary for last week. There weren’t many great deals so I didn’t do as much shopping as normal which meant I didn’t spend that much either.
I did a breakdown of prices and coupons used to help you better understand how I do my transactions. If something doesn’t make sense or you have a question feel free to leave a comment. I’ll do my best to answer.
Total Spent: $17.51
Total Saved with Coupons: $9.00
Total Saved with Sales: $3.96
Total Saved: $12.96

I just bought various grocery items that we were needing. I use the dried beans to make my own “canned beans”. It’s super simple and quite a bit cheaper than buying beans already canned.
If you’ve never heard of Aldi before I’d recommend that you check them out if you have one in your area. Their prices are great and I can’t think of one of their products that I’ve bought that we haven’t been happy with. The quality of their food is excellent and in some cases we like their brand better than the name brand equivalent.
- Saltines $0.89
- Bananas $1.23
