Please note: This offer is for new Plink users only!
Plink is offering a free $10 gift card when you make ANY purchase at McDonald’s by 9/8/13. The free $10 gift card can be redeemed for places like Amazon.com, Target, Walmart, Kohls, Starbucks and more! You will need to register a debit/credit card and use that card to pay for your $10 McDonald’s purchase.
Or maybe you’d rather do this $5 Free Gift Card deal from Plink.
A bit skeptical? Check out Plink’s good rating at Better Business Bureau.
I have used Plink before and have found them to be easy to use and have never had any problems whatsoever.

There is an Amazon Mom Diaper Event that you don’t want to miss. This promotion is going on through August 29, 2013 and gives new Amazon Mom members $25 off a box of eligible diapers. There was also a $5/$25 Amazon Facebook promotion that some of you may have snagged (even if you didn’t, it’s still a good deal!) that is available through 8/22/13. With these two offers you can score $30 off a diaper purchase! And that means you can score diapers for an incredible price!
Here is how you can score diapers for this super low price.
1. Sign up for your free Amazon Mom trial.
2. Head to the eligible diaper list. Here are a few deals available from this list.
3. Clip any available coupons lower on the page. (see below for example)
4. Click Subscribe Now and enter the code BABYTIME to get the $25 discount.
(PLEASE NOTE: With the Subscribe & Save option, unless you cancel the subscription, you will continue to get that order regularly. So if you only want to get an item one time, AFTER the order arrives, simply go to “My Account” then “Subscriptions” to cancel your Subscribe & Save subscription. It works best for me to do this as soon as the order arrives that way I don’t forget!)
5. If you claimed the $5 off $25 Amazon coupon when it was available make sure that it is being applied to your order. (I think mine didn’t show up until I was at the checkout and needing to enter my payment option.) Even if you don’t have this coupon you are still getting a great deal!
6. Make sure that any coupons clipped are being applied to your order.
5. Complete your order and enjoy receiving very cheap diapers at your doorstep!
Thanks Coupon Cutting Mom!

We’re hoping to get a weekend getaway in sometime this fall and so I’ve been perusing various sites looking for good deals. Today I checked out Airbnb.com at the suggestion of a friend and I was really impressed and just had to share it with you. Lots of lovely, reasonable places- everything from single rooms to entire houses.
Here are a couple of places that caught my eye.
* Lovely little cabin in the Poconos (Pa) for $95/night
* An apartment on Daniel Island near Charleston, SC for $99/night
* A beach getaway- a small guesthouse in Cape May, NJ for $100/night

ThredUp is an online consignment store for children’s clothing. Right now they are offering a free $15 credit toward any first time purchase when you sign up here and use coupon code BTS15 at checkout. The offer does not apply toward shipping, however there are quite a few items priced at $3.49. When I put 5 of those items in my cart my shipping was $6.95. So after the $15 off you’ll be paying $9.40 for 5 pieces of clothing. This offer expires 8/9/13.
I’ve placed a couple of orders through ThredUp and have been really impressed. The clothes were like new in quality and they even gave me two of the items for free because they didn’t meet their quality standards. (They double check the items when they prepare to ship them and I guess these two shirts had some pilling…nothing that bothered me though! But again, it speaks of their quality.)
While I found their prices to be a bit more than what I would pay at yard sales and maybe even some kid’s consignment stores, I still found quite a few great deals. As I said, the items were in great shape and they came in a cute little box and were wrapped up like a gift inside…which made them seem even more special! And I loved the fact that I didn’t have to leave my home which means I saved time and gas too.
