About Lydia Beiler
Hi, I’m so glad that you stopped by! I’m Lydia Beiler, wife to Vince and mom to three children, Logan, Sophia, and Adelyne. Our little family lives in an 1880′s row house in beautiful Lancaster City, Pennsylvania. I’m also an avid couponer and money saver and honestly about can’t keep myself from living frugally. I simply relish the challenge of seeing how far I can stretch the resources with which God has blessed us. I’m thankful that most of the time I enjoy it because we are once again being forced to live on a rather tight budget as my husband returns to college to complete a degree in Biblical studies.
The Thrifty Frugal Mom is my little “home” on the internet where I blog about all things related to saving money. You’ll find posts on how to get free samples and great deals, posts with frugal from-scratch recipes, posts showing you how I shop on my $200/mo. grocery budget and posts focused on various ways to save in specific areas. My goal is to inspire and encourage you to save money so that you can live well and hopefully even bless those around you as a result.
I typically post about 7-10 times a week, taking a break on Sundays.

More About Me
When I’m not blogging or deal shopping I’m busy doing the things moms, wives and homemakers everywhere do. I especially enjoy trying new recipes, baking of almost any sort, homeschooling our kindergartener and even doing laundry. A few of my other favorite things: reading thought provoking books, heart to heart chats with friends, walking around our lovely little city, the freshness of spring and our weekly tradition of Tues. evening family nights.
