Weekly Spending Summary (1/6-1/12)
Some of you have wondered where I get my printable coupons. Here are the main coupon sites that I use: Coupons.com, Coupon Network, Smart Source, Red Plum and Saving Star. Manufacturer websites and Facebook pages are another great source.
As I mentioned previously, my husband is teaching at a Bible School for 6 weeks and while we are there all of our living expenses such as housing and food are paid as part of his salary. We also aren’t very close to many stores so I didn’t do much shopping this week. In fact, I had thought I wouldn’t do any but then realized that there is a Giant only 10 min. away and since I was good and ready to get out and do something, I convinced my husband to go on this small shopping trip one afternoon.
Saved with Coupons: $9.10

I loved getting the yogurt for free and the rest of the items for great prices. The wipes are a great buy at $1/pack after coupons and sales. You really can’t beat that price. And the turkey bacon was just a little over $1/lb. so I decided to get it even though we much prefer regular bacon. I figure I can always use it in my Crustless Bacon and Egg Quiche. I doubt we’d think too much about the difference in taste there.
You’ll notice below that I bought two bags of coffee even though you only see one pictured above. I only recorded the price for one as well. The reason is because I am donating the other bag to the school we are at and so am taking that cost out of our gifts given budget. My husband is a coffee fan and he loves this coffee. I can frequently get it on sale for Buy One, Get One Free and when I combine that with coupons it is cheaper than buying many other brands of coffee plus it is better too!
