Weekly Spending Summary (11/18-11/24)

Okay, so this is so ridiculously late that I almost didn’t post it. I promise I wasn’t just being lazy. No, actually remember how both of our computers crashed? Well, in the process I lost a bunch of data and pictures from the older computer. (Here’s a reminder for you to back up your computers now!)

Thankfully the repair place was able to get all the data off the newer one, which is the one I used for blogging. Problem was when they first gave me the CD with all the pictures on it there was something fluky and it wouldn’t open most of the pictures. Finally this week I got the new CD and was able to access my pictures, which included these of my deal shopping.

This was the week of Black Friday and since we were out of the States for Thanksgiving I missed a bunch of deals at CVS and Rite Aid. However, CVS had a bunch of incredible deals that they ran all week so I was able to get those. Read on for more details.

Total Spent: $7.79
Total Saved with Coupons: $33.09
Total Saved with Sales: $14.13
Total Saved: $47.22

CVS: $1.25
Saved with Coupons: $31.09
Saved with Sales: $10.45

I got all of these items for free or better than free with coupons and sales. LOVE that! Planning to donate the Kraft Mac & Cheese to our local food bank since I can’t stand the stuff and the Thermacare has already been given to our elderly neighbor man who uses them regularly. He is always so excited when I give him the free ones I get. I love being able to bless other people with my deals. It just adds to the fun!

Bought the YoCrunch yogurt and the Wheat Thins for our trip that we took to Ontario over Thanksgiving. We try to pack our meals for at least some of the time to save costs. The Texas Toast croutons are our favorite and so I try to get them when they are on sale. And the Stash Chai tea? We love it! I like to drink it using part milk/part water and it’s kind of like a chai latte.
