Tasty Tuesday: Ritz Cracker Candy

In this area. Ritz Cracker Candy is standard fare on most Christmas cookie plates and so it is hard for me to imagine that there are actually people in this country that have never had it!  But I’ve learned that sometimes the things that I think are commonplace and that everyone knows about are actually not that way.

And since Ritz Cracker Candy is one of my favorite homemade candies, I just had to share it with you. I’d hate for you to miss out on it’s deliciousness! In my opinion, it’s just the perfect mixture of sweet and salty to be amazingly good—not to mention incredibly easy to make, too.

Ritz Crackers
Peanut Butter
Chocolate for Coating

Take 1 Ritz cracker and spread peanut butter on it (as much or as little as you want—depends on how much you like peanut butter!). Top with a second Ritz cracker. Use a fork to dip into melted chocolate. Coat entire candy. Cool. These candies store well in the freezer.

Variations: Spread one cracker with peanut butter and the other with marshmallow cream or jelly. Or instead of peanut butter, use Nutella.
