Tasty Tuesday: Orange Julius
I have fond memories of drinking this frothy, refreshing beverage as a little girl. We didn’t often have snacks but sometimes in the evening before we went to bed Mom would mix up Orange Julius and we’d all sit around sipping on it.
I still like it. Simple to make, it’s great as an addition to breakfast or brunch and works well just as a refreshing snack too.
1 cup milk
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
1 tsp. vanilla
12 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend till smooth. Serve immediately.
Yields: about 5 small servings
