3 FREE Summer Reading Programs for Kids (get free books or money)

Looking for some motivation to get your kid’s reading this summer?  Here are 3 Summer Reading Programs that might be just what you are looking for.

1. Barnes and Noble: (For 1st through 6th graders.) Your child needs to read 8 books before September 4, 2012 and record them in their Reading Journal.  Once completed, you take the Reading Journal to your local Barnes and Noble and then you can choose a FREE book from their selected list!

2. Half Price Books: (For children under 14.) Read for at least 300 minutes by July 31, 2012.  (Parents may read to their children and count that.)  Log your minutes and then turn in your completed log to earn $5 Half Price Books Back-to-School bucks.

3. TD Bank: Read 10 books before September 29, 2012.  Record the books and take the completed form to your local TD Bank and get $10 deposited into a Young Savers Account!  TD Banks are located along the east coast.
