I used a gift card earned through a previous CVS promotion to pay for this purchase, otherwise my out of pocket would have been $1.72. As a kind of side note, I had fun giving our mailman one of the Snickers eggs on Friday which was Random Acts of Kindness Day.

I had planned to get a few other items at Rite Aid but when I was there I realized that I hadn’t looked at my coupons closely and instead of being $1/1 coupons they were $1/2 and I didn’t feel like it was a good enough price to warrant buying. So I just purchased the one lone light bulb. Normally I wouldn’t bother taking the time to stop for just one item, although we really can use light bulbs right now.
Bought:
- GE Light Bulb $3.99
Coupon Used:
- $3.00 GE in-ad coupon
Giant: $7.96
Saved with Coupons: $10.00

I was in Target for some other items so I decided I might as well take advantage of this free yogurt deal. I make my own yogurt but if I can get it free I’ll still “buy” the bought yogurt. My son thinks it is a real treat because it is in those cool little individual cups.
Bought:
- 2 Activa yogurts $2.00 each
Coupons Used:
Misc: $27.20
My mother-in-law got some cheese and butter for me. The cheese was less than $2.00/lb. which is always a good enough deal that I can’t pass it up! I’ll freeze the shredded cheese and just pull it out whenever I need it.
