Soap Opera Star Welcomes Son

Heather Tom, who stars on the daytime soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful,” has given birth to a son, Zane Alexander, PEOPLE.com reports:

[Tom], 36, and husband James Achor welcomed their first child, son Zane Alexander Achor, on Sunday, Oct. 28 in Los Angeles, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Baby boy weighed in at 8 lbs., 1 oz.

“This was the hardest and best thing that I have ever done in my life,” Tom, who was able to have a drug-free birth, tells PEOPLE. “Zane is truly amazing!”
