‘Supernatural’ Star Expecting First Child

Jensen Ackles, who plays a monster- and ghost- hunter on the television series “Supernatural,” is expecting his first child with his wife the actress Danneel Ackles, PEOPLE.com is reporting:

The actress, who most recently played Jenn on Retired at 35, will debut her baby bump when she accompanies Ackles — who plays Dean alongside new dad Jared Padalecki on the hit series — to the People’s Choice Awards Wednesday, where the dad-to-be is scheduled to present.
