‘Top Chef’ Judge Welcomes Daughter

Gail Simmons, who is a judge on the reality series “Top Chef,” has given birth to her first child, a baby girl she and her husband have named Dahlia Rae, as PEOPLE.com reports:

“Dahlia weighed 7 lbs., 3 oz.,” the rep tells PEOPLE. “Mother, father and baby are doing wonderfully.”

Simmons, 37, told PEOPLE at the Emmys in September that she and her husband were waiting to find out the sex.

“We’d like it to be a surprise,” she said. “We have some of the nursery done, but we’re going to wait until [we find out] who this little nugget is.”

Actress Kim Fields Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Kim Fields, the actress who is best known for her role in the 1980s sitcom “The Facts of Life,” has given birth to her second child, a son named Quincy Xavier. More from PEOPLE.com:

Born in Atlanta, Ga. at 10:30 a.m., Quincy weighed in at 8 lbs., 8 oz., measured 20 inches long and joins big brother Sebastian Alexander, 6½.

“We are so blessed and grateful to God for this newest gift to our family,” the couple, who married in 2007, tell PEOPLE.

Fields, 44, announced the pregnancy in July.

“It was planned. We’ve actually been trying for a couple years,” she said at the time. “We had gotten pregnant twice and [miscarried]. If I’m encouraging to anybody … it’s not like I’m the poster child for over 40 and pregnant.”

Ivanka Trump Gives Birth to Baby, Joseph Frederick

Ivanka Trump and her husband Jarad Kushner have welcomed their second child, a son they have named Joseph Frederick.  The new arrival joins 2-year-old sister Arabella Rose.  More from PEOPLE.com:

Only one day after giving birth to her baby boy, Ivanka Trump introduced her bundle of joy on her Tumblr Tuesday, sharing a photo of her cradling her swaddled son in the hospital.

The new mom also posted his birth announcement, revealing he arrived on Monday, Oct. 14 at 9:54 p.m.

“With love we welcome our son, Joseph Frederick Kushner,” she Tweeted.

Baby boy — who shares a middle name with his cousin Spencer Frederick, the youngest son of Trump’s brother Donald Jr. – was named after both his parents’ paternal grandfathers.

Tennis Player Kim Clijsters Gives Birth to Son

Kim Clijsters, who retired from tennis after the 2012 US Open, has given birth to her second child, a son she and husband Brian Lynch have named Jack Leon Lynch.  More from PEOPLE.com:

“Jack Leon Lynch is born! Born at 7:06 p.m. tonight and we are both doing well,” the new mom, who gave birth in Belgium, writes. “His big sister, mama and daddy are very proud and happy!”

Baby boy joins the couple’s daughter Jada Ellie, 5½.

Clijsters, who retired from the sport after competing in the 2012 U.S. Open, announced her pregnancy in February.

Actors Johnny Messner, Kathryn Morris Welcome Twin Boys

Kathryn Morris, the actress who starred in the TV series “Cold Case,” and her actor husband, Johnny Messner, have welcomed twin sons into their family.  Jameson West Messner and Rocco McQueen Messner were born August 21 in Los Angeles, PEOPLE.com reports:

“We’ve been blessed with 14 lbs. of love from above with these angels. Healthy sweet boys!”

Both baby boys were born at 8:12 a.m., and weighed in at 6 lbs., 14 oz. and 6 lbs., 10 oz.

Although the initial discovery that Morris and Messner were welcoming twins took them by surprise, the new mom is thrilled her baby boys share a special bond.

“When the doctor sensed twins from some specific HCG levels in my blood work, he brought us in for the ultrasound and said, ‘Let me just check on something I already know … Okay, there’s one for you and one for you!’ We were shocked and ecstatic,” she recalls. “Now these brothers have a built-in best friend for life! Who doesn’t want that?”
