The actress Busy Philipps, the “Cougar Town” star who announced in December that she was expecting her second child, has revealed that she and husband Marc Silverstein are expecting another girl. More from PEOPLE.com:
“We’ve known for a long time now, I just haven’t had any reason to say it, but we’re having another girl. We’re really excited,” the Cougar Town star, 33, tells The Huffington Post.
But the actress and her husband Marc Silverstein aren’t the only ones ecstatic about the upcoming arrival of their second child. The couple’s daughter BirdieLeigh is taking her future role as big sister all in stride.
“My daughter is super excited. She’s actually incredibly helpful and … she’s really understanding things,” the mom-to-be says. “When I say like, ‘Mom can’t carry you right now because the baby in her tummy is pressing down on her bladder!’ She understands what that means and she’s cool with it.”

The comedian Maya Rudolph is expecting her fourth child this summer, she announced during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” she made this week with fellow cast members from the upcoming movie “Grown Ups 2.” US Weekly has more:
“It looks like sooner, but we’ll see,” she joked of her baby bump, which she dressed in an all-black ensemble. “I remember last summer she said, ‘I can’t believe I’m having three children. I’m never doing this again,’” [Salma] Hayek, 46, recalled. Rudolph laughed and added, “It’s amazing how we forget. It’s like that light pen thing they do in Men in Black. Somebody [pointed it in my face] and I was like, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about.’”
Sources first revealed Rudolph’s baby news in February; though she attended several events sporting an unmistakable bump, she had not publicly commented on her pregnancy until her Ellen DeGeneres Show appearance.
Rudolph and her longtime partner, director Paul Thomas Anderson, are already parents to Pearl, 7, Lucille, 3, and Jack, 21 months.

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and his wife, designer Georgina Chapman, have added to their family, welcoming a baby boy. The couple has chosen not to share the baby’s name so far, but they are already parents to a 2-year-old daughter named India Pearl, and Weinstein is the father of three daughters from a previous marriage. The couple spoke to PEOPLE.com about having a boy after so many girls in the house:
When announcing her pregnancy, the Marchesa co-founder, 37, told PEOPLE that the sex of her second child didn’t matter to her. “Just as long as the baby is happy and healthy,” she said at the time.
Added Weinstein, “After four girls, I don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl. It makes no difference to me.”
