Children’s fleece bathrobes sold by the popular clothing line Hanna Andersson have been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission because the robes do not meet federal flammability standards for sleepware, the CPSC announced this week. The agency said there have been no reported incidents related to the robes, but that parents should return the robes if they have them.
The robes under recall are white, 100% polyester fleece, with colored polka-dots. “Style 38310 Hanna Andersson” is printed on the neck tag of the robes.
Parents who own the robes will be given return, exchange, or store credit options. Families can contact Hanna Andersson toll-free at (800) 222-0544 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. PT Monday through Saturday or visit the company’s website at www.HannaAndersson.com.
