Tough Guy

toddler boy with stitches on forehead

Coincidentally, all the kids at daycare are boys. When I dropped Roy off this morning, they circled him, showering him with high-fives and fist-bumps, like he had just joined their secret tough-guy club. I need to follow up on one friend’s suggestion and track down some temporary tattoos. Maybe a barbed-wire armband or the classic “mom” heart?

I thought I had left a note to apply a Harry Potter scar. My FB account mysteriously deletes posts.

What a tough guy! And a particularly cute one at that.

Boys LOVE owies, marks, and stories that go with them! My husband will point to a tiny, barely visible mark and say, that’s where I had stitches when I was 4! Like a badge of honor. I have seen tatoo’s (fake) on other kids…I kind of like it:)
Looks like he’s healing well – and someday he can tell friends all about his owie – and how brave he was!

Scars are always cool for boy, almost no matter their age. :-)
