Whether you’re a fan of the Mini Style Hacker or are just learning about the charismatic 4-year-old fashionisto (whose real name is Ryker Wixom), you’ll be thrilled to learn about his partnership with Zulily, an online deal site offering products for the whole family.
The curated event will take place next Thursday, October 16, and will feature trends such as “Color, Color, and More Color,” “Slim Fits,” (yes, even kiddos can don blazers and moto jackets!), “Rocker Cool” (graphic tees, distressed boots, and the like), and more. The event runs online for 72 hours, but inventory is limited, so start shopping right when it opens at 6 am PST to have your pick of the selections! Just as the Mini Style Hacker is known for recreating fashion-forward looks on a budget, the items offered on zulily will also be affordable (just think: this is a great opportunity to stock up on holiday gear for your young ones!).
Need some inspiration before the sale? Check out some of his best looks (fans of Zac Efron, Ryan Gosling, and others stylish dudes will be impressed at what the preschooler pulled off!). Happy shopping!

It’s time to start thinking about the back to school madness.
While this time of year can cause stress and anxiety, Celebrity Baby Scoop reached out to some savvy celebrity moms – and rounded up top brands – to help beat the back to school chaos.
Melissa Joan Hart and husband Mark Wilkerson are parents to three sons: Mason, 7, Brady, 5 and Tucker, 12 months in September.
“I always try to get the boys a new backpack and a new pair of sneakers to get them excited about going back to school,” Melissa says. “We talk for a few weeks leading up to it about the teachers name and who a couple of classmates will be to help ease some of those first day jitters.”
Courtney Lopez and husband, Extra host Mario Lopez are parents to 3-year-old daughter Gia and are currently expecting their second child.
“In order to avoid losing her stuff at school, we label all of Gia’s school supplies and clothes with Mabel’s Labels,” Courtney shares.
TODAY Show anchor, Natalie Morales and her husband Joe Rhodes are parents to sons Josh, 9, and Luke, 5.
“Create a calendar of activities for each kid early on so they can see each day what they have and need,” Natalie shares. “And label everything! I love Mabel’s labels, as they stay on longer than the clothes lasts.”
Entertainment Tonight’s Brooke Anderson and husband Jim Walker are parents to 4-year-old daughter Kate, with another one on-the-way.
Brooke advises to “leave extra time to get ready and out the door in the morning so there’s no added stress of running late.”
“Your child may already be anxious and dragging her feet a little bit. Rushing her will do nothing to calm the nerves. Make the routine fun and as stress free as possible (for everyone including yourself!).”
“Write a fun, encouraging note for your child and leave in his/her lunch bag,” she adds. “I have found the notes from Little Jots to be cute and easy with included stickers but any old piece of paper will do. My daughter Kate loves to get words of support and love plus a little surprise drawing from me while she’s at preschool.”
The expectant mama went on to share a great time-saving tip. “Pack the backpack and lunch the night before with all the essentials so nothing is forgotten the morning of school,” Brooke says.
Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’Dell is stepmom to her husband Keith Zubchevic’s sons, Tyler and Carson. They are also parents to 6-year-old daughter Ashby.
“Make an album with your child,” says Nancy, an avid scrapbooker.
“Over the summer when it gets close to the time for back to school, sit down with your child and make an album or a scrapbook of the previous year in school,” she adds. “It will remind him or her of all the good times they had in school and it will get them excited about going back! It is a great bonding project to do together and you have a wonderful keepsake for the family as a result.”
Nancy goes on to talk about the benefits of enjoying family photos.
“Also bring out some of your family albums to show your child,” Nancy continues. “It will remind them that they are part of a group, that they are members of a strong family, that they belong and it will give them the strength to fall back on if they were to go through anything difficult at school, for example, bullying which is all too prevalent these days.”
“Child psychologists will tell you that seeing family photos, with it being reinforced visually, helps children to know they have this family unit behind them to lean on,” Nancy adds. “I share more of my album ideas at NancyODell.com including an Album of Hope which would be another great back to school project with your child.”

I’ve noticed that expectant parents pour oh-so-much thought into what kind of stroller to buy, and usually some hundreds of dollars into buying it, and then a year later want to ditch it for a lightweight stroller anyway. That big “first stroller” is a lifesaver when you have a tiny infant to move around, but as soon as your kid is sturdy enough to sit in a smaller stroller, that scaled-down piece of gear can save you a lot of hassle.
Our June issue of American Baby has a lightweight stroller guide. These are sometimes also called “umbrella strollers” because they fold up pretty small and are easy to carry. Note that we don’t show any of the under-$50 models that are more or less a sling of fabric on wheels. Those can be okay for short outings with preschoolers, but if your child is still 2 or under, I recommend something that can recline back, that has a basket to hold your stuff, and that has a canopy to keep the sun away.
Breaking news: Zulily has a sale starting June 22 on BeBeLove strollers that does include an umbrella stroller that reclines and has a canopy for a crazy $28! It’s this little blue number here. I seriously don’t think you can find a better bargain than that!
Enjoy summer outings with your baby!

Honestly, she’s one of our favorite celebrity moms. From her chic sense of style, to her hands-on playdates at the park, to her eco-friendly business, we can’t get enough of Jessica Alba. After creating The Honest Company last year, the mom-of-two is now joining forces with zulily to share her safe and sustainable products with a new audience.
Jessica opens up to CelebrityBabyScoop about her daughters Honor, 4, and Haven, 1, who “like to play, explore, get messy, and are creative.” She goes on to talk about modeling eco-friendly habits for the girls, her book that will hit shelves in March, and her upcoming film that she can’t wait to take Honor and her friends to see.
CBS: We hear The Honest Company has joined forces with zulily. Tell us all about the new partnership.
JA: The Honest Company and zulily both believe in simplifying families’ busy lives by bringing them affordable, stylish, and trusted products every day. Our companies also support using business for social good and are committed to giving back to families in need. So, I knew working together would be a great extension of our Honest mission.
Because zulily is about helping moms discover new brands and products, we’re excited to reach this new audience, share our safe and effective eco-friendly products with them, and grow our communities together.
CBS: How are your daughters doing? What are they into these days? What do they do to make you laugh?
JA: Every day with my girls is a dream and just hanging out with them is the best thing ever. They’re happy and healthy 1- and 4-year-olds who like to play, explore, get messy, and are creative. And since they’re typical kiddos, they’re bound to make me laugh.
CBS: What are some of the ways you get your girls to be eco-friendly? What are some tips in teaching our kids to love our environment?
JA: First and foremost, we try to model and practice eco-friendly habits for the girls. Otherwise, we talk to them about being mindful and explain that things can be turned into something else one day. This can be as simple as teaching them about recyclables and showing how to sort bottles and cans from trash.
We also do a lot of DIY crafts like using cardboard boxes to make airplanes and dollhouses—our creative playtime together similarly shows the girls about repurposing old items.
Involving children in gardening and cooking is another great way to inspire eco-friendly living. Caring for the plants in our herb wall garden helps Honor understand the steps to growing food (including patience!), how it ultimately lands on her plate, and about being a good steward of the planet.
Honor is also a great sous chef when we’re in the kitchen, so being a part of the dinner process encourages her to eat the foods she grows and develops her taste for fresh ingredients. Hopefully, this lays the foundation for children to prioritize their health and that of the planet.
CBS: What’s up next for you?
JA: I’m very excited to publish my first book The Honest Life this March! It’s a colorful how-to guidebook for people who want to make a healthy and non-toxic home without giving up the fun fashionable things. I hope people will be inspired to make the ideas their own and find what works for them.
Also, I’m looking forward to taking Honor and her friends to see my upcoming animated film Escape from Planet Earth because it’s really a sweet story. I had a lot of fun working on this film—it was great to play the nemesis since I don’t often get to play that role.
