The highchair aisle has changed in the past few years. The number of just-highchairs has gotten smaller, and the range of seats that morph from infant highchairs to boosters has grown. Seems fair; if you’re going to park a new chair in the kitchen, it should be one that can stay for a few years!
We recently got to preview Svan’s new Baby-to-Booster, and it’s a beauty. Here at the magazine we kind of lust after the old-fashioned wooden chairs, and this chair is birch save for the tray and seat pad. But like a modern chair it folds up, and the footrest adjusts as your kid grows. It’s safety tested for ages 6 months to 5 years, so your baby may just be doing kindergarten homework in it some day!
