image001Find out what you, as a parent, need to take away from scientific reports on Red-Hot Parenting, a new blog from Richard Rende, PhD, associate professor of psychiatry and human behavior at Brown Medical School and Butler Hospital. Along with dissecting reports that you may hear or read about in the news, Rende will share  ”red-hot” studies he finds in scientific journals that thinks you need to know about and offer his suggestions for how to implement them into your lives.

Rende lives in Rhode Island with his wife and daughter. He received a BA in Psychology from Yale University, an MA in Psychology from Wesleyan University, a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University, and postdoctoral training in Clinical and Genetic Epidemiology at Columbia University.
