There, I’ve admitted it.
Not all of my towels stunk, but some did, especially the older ones and those that my husband (who works in construction) used. Oh, sure, they cleaned up nice, but after one use, the musty odor returned. It was driving me nuts. I had been meaning to go to Target and just get a whole new slew of towels. But then a publicist asked if I was interested in trying a product called “Smelly Towel.” It’s seriously called Smelly Towel.
It’s a powder that’s you use along with detergent and I think you can figure out what it’s supposed to do. And it works! I’ll be honest–I have no idea how it works. I asked for more details (about the “citrus ingredients” in particular) and I found out it’s basically a trade secret. But I’ll focus on the fact that I get to keep all of my towels and I’m no longer plagued by the whiff of mold and mildew when I walk in to my bathroom.
The company also makes a product called Smelly Washer, and while I’m coming clean (get it?!), I’ll tell you that that’s my next project.
