3865908802_3cbc8cfa5fI’ve got another great way you can help in Haiti and help yourself make some extra space at home. One of our favorite kids’ clothing companies, Tiny Revolutionary is sending a donation of their tees to schools and orphanages and they’d love to include any gently used items you can spare.

Please send, this week, to:

Good Deed Monday: Help Your Kids Help Haiti

Monday, January 25th, 2010

kidsworldHappy Monday GoodyBloggers! Over the past week the amount of outreach and creativity that has gone into countless Haiti relief efforts got us thinking. Why wait til Friday to get our good deed’in on? Why not start strong on Monday and make a difference all week long? So, welcome to Good Deed Monday.

This week’s deed: Empower your kids to help in Haiti. Kids have empathy in spades and sometimes the only way to help them feel okay is the same way we do it–by acting. Need some ideas? Check out this truly awesome help Haiti site Nickelodeon launched, full of tips on what kids can do;  a list of organizations you can reach out to as a family (such as Kids Care Clubs); and message boards for kids to connect, discuss and share thoughts.
