Celebrity Couples Share the Joys of Parenthood

Wednesday, March 20th, 2013

This post was written by our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop.

From Angelina Jolie’s hope of being a good role model to Victoria Beckham’s wish for a manual on motherhood, let’s see what Hollywood parents have to say about parenthood.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt

Power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are parents to six children: Maddox, 12, Pax, 9, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, and 4-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. While the high-profile couple try to maintain a private life, they’ve been known to gush about their kids every now and again.

“There are far too many things to count,” Angelina said about the joys of motherhood. “But everything that matters in life has to do with being a parent.”

While she’s had a colorful past, the actress is honored to be considered a role model.

“I was such a punk for so long, you can’t imagine you’d be anybody’s role model,” she said. “I’m very grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to do some things that have allowed me to be a role model. I hope I’m [a role model] for my children, and especially for my daughters.”

And Brad recently opened up about his favorite role — fatherhood. “It’s been a family type of year, a down-home type of year,” he said. “Mama’s worked more. And quite frankly I’ve really enjoyed it.”

According to the Golden Globe-winning actor, nothing brings him greater joy than his family-of-eight.

“You know, I don’t know that we’re finished,” he said of adding to their brood. “Those late nights are so fun when one of them’s up or those mornings when they get up and make pancakes or something. That’s what it’s about.”

David & Victoria Beckham

Soccer star David Beckham and his wife of thirteen years, Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, are parents to four kids: sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, 8, and daughter Harper, 1.

The famous footballer said another child would be “amazing,” and he is often heard gushing about his big brood.

“She’s so beautiful,” David said about his baby girl. “There’s no more love for a daughter than there is a son, but it’s just different…I still think ‘Oh God, I can’t believe this, I’ve got a girl.’ And to see the boys with her it’s incredible. When they walk into the room, her little face lights up.”

And the singer-turned-fashion designer mama has also spoken about the joys of family life.

“Well, you know when you get a TV you get a manual? Well, there isn’t one for motherhood,” Victoria said. “I’m constantly trying to figure it out and questioning whether I’m doing it right. But I’m so proud of my kids. They are very well-mannered. We’ve always been very strict with the kids. That’s the way David and myself were brought up. But they’re free spirits as well. They laugh. They joke. They have fantastic personalities. I love hanging out with them.”

Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner

Married for seven years, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck seem like one of the happiest couples in Hollywood with their three adorable kids: daughters Violet, 7, and Seraphina, 4, and 1-year-old son Samuel.

“It’s so important to me that they grow up with a healthy self-esteem, confidence and knowing just where to kick if they need to,” Jennifer said of raising her kids. “You want to set the best example you can for them in every way. You want them to grow up and be proud of you.”

During one of his many acceptance speeches this awards season for his mega hit Argo, Ben couldn’t help but gush about his seemingly-perfect family-of-five.

“I want to thank my three kids Violet, Sera, and Sam, I love you guys,” Ben said. “And I want to thank my wife. She’s the reason I’m standing here. I adore you, I love you so much. Thanks for sitting through this. You’re my everything.”

He added: “I want our daughters to break boundaries.”

Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale

Rockstar couple Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani have been married for ten years and are parents to sons Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 4. The longtime couple have spoken about their happy family life.

“Kingston still likes the drums, but he’s into everything now,” Gavin gushed. “He’s always busy doing things. We’re just trying to give them lots of opportunities. Zuma is really into the guitar. If I’m playing he’ll come and jam with me – he’ll sit with me, it’s really fun. He moves his hands up and down. His positioning and charisma are amazing. He’s so relaxed, looks great!”

And Gwen has been open about the challenges and rewards of motherhood.

“It’s super fun being a mom, but it’s not what you think it’s going to be,” Gwen admitted. “And it’s really gradual. At first, your life is totally the same. You have this cute little thing that you get to drive around everywhere and you’re so proud and it’s amazing. And as they grow older, it really does start to change your life. Like, oh my God, they have school, they have to get through first grade, they have to learn to read.”

Happy In Hollywood: 10 Strong Celebrity Marriages

Tuesday, December 4th, 2012

This post was written by our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop.

After nine years of marriage to Michael Stone, we were sorry to hear Mayim Bailiks divorce announcement last week.

But they’re not the only ones. It seems there’s a new split every other week among Hollywood’s couples. But there’s a few duos that keep the flame burning in Tinseltown. From David and Victoria Beckham’s 13-year union, to Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick’s two decade-plus marriage, let’s take a look at 10 Hollywood couples with strong marriages.

1. David and Victoria Beckham

David and Victoria Beckham are practically British royalty. Dubbed ‘Posh and Becks’ by the media, the longtime couple have been married for 13 years.

Seemingly blissful since their July 1999 wedding, the British power couple have four children together: sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, and Cruz, 7, and 1-year-old daughter Harper.

“Our house is a really happy house,” Victoria said. “There are kids running around and laughing and joking, I smile so much more than people would think. There’s nothing better than being in LA with my kids, cooking dinner with my husband and having a romantic night in…I’m growing older with the most amazing man I’ve ever met – with my soul mate. Life’s great.”

2. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck

Married for 7 years, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck seem like one of the happiest couples in Hollywood with their three children: daughters Violet, nearly 7, and Seraphina, nearly 4, and 9-month-old son Samuel.

The Garflecks, who wed in June 2005, seem like the perfect match.

“Jennifer played such a profound role in making me a better person,” Ben said. “We don’t have a perfect marriage, but she inspired me; and finding myself in that marriage and having a child dovetailed with getting to be a little more mature.” He added of his wife, “She truly is kind. She means no one any harm. She doesn’t have ill will for any person. She’s not competitive with other people. She’s not spiteful. It’s one of those things where it becomes almost aggravating at times. Every time I go, ‘F— him!’ I see in her face that she just thinks that’s petty and small.”

3. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale

Rockstar couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have been married for 10 years and appear to have the perfect family-of-four with their two sons, Kingston, 6, and Zuma, 4.

After celebrating their 2002 wedding with three ceremonies, the No Doubt frontwoman recently said marriage can be hard, but a dream come true.

“My biggest accomplishment is my marriage so far,” Gwen said. “Because it’s hard, everyone knows it’s hard. [Marriage] is something that I always wanted to do successfully. It was a dream of mine. I like the official-ness and the family-ness of it all, having the same name and making decisions together.”

She went on to say they are closer than ever after a decade together.

“[Our relationship] is better than it’s ever been. Like, we’re learning about each other all the time. He’s an amazing dad, he works so hard – I can hear him writing songs through the wall, and it is at a much quicker pace than me! He balances me out. And he – he never stops liking me, which is awesome! It makes me feel happy, that someone likes me as much as he does.”

A Look At Hollywood’s Karate Kids

Friday, September 21st, 2012

This post was written by our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop.

Long before tween star Jaden Smith made martial arts popular in the remake of Karate Kid, children everywhere have been participating in karate.

And Tinseltown’s tots are no exception. From Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s daughter Violet, to Heidi Klum and Seal’s kids, to Britney Spears’ boys, let’s take a look at Hollywood’s karate kids.

We just spotted mom-of-three Jennifer Garner picking up her 6-year-old daughter Violet from karate class. The eldest Affleck kiddo looked so cute in her uniform.

We’ve seen Britney Spears taking her sweet sons Sean Preston and Jayden James to and from karate class.

Jessica Alba’s elder daughter Honor was spotted in her karate outfit earlier this year. She looked so proud as she walked with the nanny after class.

We often see Mark Wahlberg picking up his son Michael from karate class in sunny California. What a cute father-son pair!

My Name Is Earl star Jaime Pressly was spotted with her adorable son Dezi after karate class last summer. We wonder if he’s kept up with martial arts training?

Michael Jackson’s sons Prince and Blanket have been spotted leaving their karate lessons. Their sister Paris has also been photographed in her white uniform.

Although it’s been years, we used to see Ryan Phillippe regularly taking his son Deacon, now 8, to and from karate class.

Rockstar parents Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were seen taking their elder son Kingston to karate class last summer. Not sure if we’ve seen him in his karate uniform since?

Heidi Klum seems to always be dropping off and picking up all four of her kids – sons Henry and Johan and daughters Leni and Lou – at karate class. We even saw her oldest son receiving an award for his martial arts skills.

The 10 Best-Dressed Celebrity Moms

Thursday, August 16th, 2012

This post was written by our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop.

We love seeing our favorite celebrity moms in their everyday funky fashions. Whether it’s Jessica Alba’s newest scarf, or Victoria Beckham’s sky-high stilettos, we can’t get enough of Tinseltown’s latest trends.

According to CelebrityBabyScoop’s recent Readers’ Choice Awards, these are the 10 best-dressed, high-profile mamas in Hollywood:

1. Victoria Beckham

Mom-of-four Victoria Beckham never ceases to amaze us with her signature Louboutins, sleek designs and overall flair for fashion. Does she ever wear yoga pants and jeans like most moms? Probably not, and that’s why we love Vicki’s mom style the most.

2. Jessica Alba

Often seen in scarves, fedoras, and carrying oversized bags, actress Jessica Alba is dressed to impress while out and about with her two daughters. While her daughters sometimes steal the show in their own fashion statements, Jessica keeps the trends current with layers, patterns, and bright splashes of color.

3. Jennifer Garner

Mom-of-three Jennifer Garner is our favorite celebrity mom year after year. And it’s her carefree, casual fashions that make us love her even more! Often spotted in jeans, tees, and cardigans, Jen usually keeps it low-key in little to no makeup and sneakers. While some criticize the actress for her casual attire, most of us are happy to see a Hollywood star dress like us everyday moms!

4. Gwen Stefani

From street chic to Hollywood glam, Gwen Stefani knows how to rock the trends! A successful fashion designer in her own right, Gwen often talks about the importance of fashion and maintaining her image in Hollywood. And not to mention her sons’ funky duds! We always love seeing what Gwen and her boys are wearing.

5. Angelina Jolie

It’s rare to see Angelina Jolie in casual clothes and colors. The mom-of-six is often sporting black skirts and dresses, paired with heels and shades. Although she has such a busy household, Angie always looks polished and stylish, giving her the No. 5 spot on our best dressed list.

And rounding out the top 10 best dressed celebrity moms are Nicole Richie, Selma Blair, Nicole Kidman, Sandra Bullock, and Pink.

Who’s your favorite fashionista?

5 Celebrity Moms on Losing the Baby Weight

Thursday, August 2nd, 2012

This post was written by Jenny Schafer from Celebrity Baby Scoop.

Losing the baby weight is challenging for most women. But when you’re a celebrity mom, Hollywood’s beauty standards can make the postpartum period downright miserable.

Let’s take a look at 5 high-profile mamas who have opened up about weight loss post-pregnancy. Read about Gisele Bündchen‘s “muscle memory,” to Hilary Duff not losing the baby weight “overnight,” to Gwen Stefani admitting it was “no miracle” that she’s regained her svelte figure.

Alyson Hannigan:
American Pie star Alyson Hannigan and her husband, actor Alexis Denisof, welcomed their second daughter, Keeva Jane,  on May 23. The Buffy alums are also parents to 3-year-old daughter Satyana.

Since welcoming baby Keeva, Alyson has talked about not losing the baby weight quickly enough for Tinseltown.

“I think by Hollywood standards I’m supposed to be in bikini shape now that my baby is 4 weeks old,” she playfully tweeted. “My workout goal: Food drops in lap, not on belly.”

Despite her woes, fans of the How I Met Your Mother star showed their support for “setting a good example” and not rushing to lose the baby weight.

Alyson replied, “I still haven’t lost all the weight from my first daughter. Oh well.”

Hilary Duff:
Lizzie McGuire actress Hilary Duff and husband, hockey star Mike Comrie, welcomed their first child, son Luca, on March 20. The Disney darling recently said that she enjoyed eating during her pregnancy.

“My whole life you know I worked out and exercised and been in the public eye and always watched what I ate. This was like a vacation,” Hilary said of enjoying eating during pregnancy. “I had a blast. I wouldn’t go back and change it. I had a lot of fun.”

The new mom has also opened up about her postpartum weight loss.

“I’m not perfect, but I feel fantastic,” she said. “This is how it goes for most women – the weight doesn’t fall off overnight.”

The actress-singer, 24, added that she’s been exercising “a few” times a week, mixing spin classes with private training sessions.

She added that her hubby “doesn’t care” about her extra pregnancy weight, and added, “Even during my pregnancy he thought I was beautiful.”

Gisele Bündchen:
Supermodel Gisele Bündchen and her husband, football star Tom Brady, welcomed their first child together, son Benjamin, on December 8, 2009.

The Brazilian beauty talked about regaining her figure almost instantly after Benjamin’s birth.

“I think it’s muscle memory,” Gisele said. “I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week. I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds.”

Molly Sims:
Actress Molly Sims and husband Scott Stuber welcomed their first child, son Brooks Alan, on June 19. The new mom recently opened up about her mission to lose the 50 pounds of baby weight that she gained during her first pregnancy.

“Eating during my pregnancy was easy, but losing the baby weight – that’s going to be a whole other story,” Molly wrote on MollySims.com. “As much as I tried to stick to a healthy diet and exercise routine while I was pregnant, I ended up gaining 50 pounds—so let’s just say I have my work cut out for me! But no matter what it takes, being in the best shape possible has always been very important to me. I’m more than willing to put in the work to get my pre-baby body back.”

Gwen Stefani:
Rockers Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are parents to two sons – Kingston, 6, and Zuma, nearly 4. Five months after welcoming Kingston, Gwen talked about her postpartum weight loss.

“That’s been really hard,” she said of losing the weight. “But it’s almost gone. I’ve just been eating healthy,” she said, adding, “I cheat every day at least once.”

The uber-svelte No Doubt frontwoman has admitted to struggling with her weight and body image after having two children. She said that her current figure is “no miracle” and that it took eight months to lose the baby weight after the arrival of Zuma.

And even Gavin chimed in about the pressures on his wife to lose the baby weight under the limelight.

“Yeah, she does [feel under pressure to lose the weight fast], Gavin said. “I mean, she’s just so dedicated and she’s just amazing with that stuff (weight loss). It’s very hard because everyone’s so judged the whole time.”

10 Fashion Forward Celebrity Kids

Thursday, July 12th, 2012

Suri CruiseThis post was written by our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop.

Move over young Hollywood — these mini fashionistas are taking over as the new trendsetters in Tinseltown!

With fashion designers as moms, it’s no wonder that celeb kids such as Kingston Rossdale, Skyler Berman, Suri Cruise and Harper Beckham are seen in today’s top fashions.

“It is too much fun. It is like dressing a live doll,” Rachel Zoe said of dressing her 1-year-old son Skyler with husband Rodger Berman. “He has no opinion. Every minute I have to buy things for my son,” she confessed.

And not to mention Suri Cruise‘s fashion statements!

Her mom Katie Holmes came clean about Suri’s lack of weather-appropriate attire, admitting it can be “embarrassing.”

“Recently, Suri and I were taking a walk and a fight got started because it was cold outside and she didn’t want to wear her coat,” Katie said. “My philosophy is, well, fine, because after a block of walking you’re going to ask me for your coat. So the pictures of her [without a coat in cold weather] are sort of embarrassing.”

Suri’s Top Gun papa, Tom Cruise, has also weighed in on Suri’s much-talked-about fashion choices — such as her heels and lipstick.

“Listen, I believe that she (should wear) whatever she wants to wear,” Tom said. “She dresses herself. I want to encourage her creativity and her own self-expression. I think that’s important for the child’s own identity.”

The doting daddy went on to say that Suri is “so sweet” that it’s hard to say “no” to her.

With Harper Beckham‘s mom making a name for herself in the fashion industry, it’s no stretch to hear that her wardrobe is full of fancy duds!

“She has so many little dresses!” dad David Beckham said of his 11-month-old daughter with Victoria Beckham. “I didn’t realize how excited I would get over buying hair bows.”

Harper looked cute as a button when we spotted the mini-fashionista with her posh mama at LAX, sporting a Little Marc Jacobs Isis Even Stripe Dress ($119) and a pair of Chloe tights ($50).

The always stylish Gwen Stefani said she lets her stylish 6-year-old son Kingston pick out his own clothes.

“At that age they like to be in control of everything, so I let him choose,” the L.A.M.B. designer said. “Luckily, everything in his closet is cute so no matter what he picks, he’s gonna look good. For a while he was into costumes. Now he doesn’t even want to wear shoes.”

Tinseltown Tots and Their Birthday Bashes

Celebrity Kids' Birthday PartiesThis post was written by our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop.

Everyone loves a fun children’s birthday party!

But in Hollywood, the kids get more than just hot dogs and homemade cupcakes! From
$100,000 extravagant affairs when Suri Cruise turned two, to themed and catered events like Stella McDermott’s third birthday, to Cruz Beckham’s costume party in Beverly Hills, Celebrity Baby Scoop invites you into the birthday bashes of Tinseltown’s tots.

Suri Cruise:

One of the most celebrated tots in Hollywood, Suri Cruise, is well-known for her extravagant birthday parties. Most people don’t spend thousands on their birthday parties in a lifetime, but Suri isn’t most people. Her second birthday party made headline news when parents Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes spent a reported $100,000 on the event. The theme was butterflies, and the lavish cake had an excessive $5,000 price tag alone! Catering set back the famous parents $45,000, and the sweets didn’t end with the cake. Reportedly, $230 was doled out for cupcakes from LA’s Sprinkles bakery as well.

Fast forward a few years where we spotted the mini fashionista celebrating her fifth birthday with a lavish tea party alongside mom and dad at their Beverly Hills mansion last April. Wearing a pink dress and turquoise shades, Suri – famous for her fashionable duds, heels and makeup – sat at the head of the table, surrounded by siblings Bella, then 18, and Connor, then 16, and other guests.

Mama Katie talked about the party plans a few weeks prior to the lavish event. “This is my favorite day of the year,” the Dawson’s Creek alum said. “So we’re gonna have a little tea party, and I like to girl it up.”

Rumor has it that Tom splurged – big time – on his little girl. “Tom decided to add $5 million — in honor of her milestone birthday — to Suri’s trust fund,” a family insider said. “She already has several million in the fund.”

Harlow Madden:

Harlow Madden, the daughter of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, celebrated her 4th birthday on January 16th at the COOP in Sherman Oaks, Calif. This is the same children’s play space where Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz threw Bronx Mowgli’s third birthday.

The Toy Story-themed bash was attended by 35 kids, and all were treated to a visit from the Pixar film’s characters Woody, Jessie and Buzz.

Also in attendance was Jennifer Meyer, the wife of Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire, and their two kids Ruby, 5, and Otis, 2. Uncle Benji Madden arrived right after the arrival of Buzz Lightyear and Jessie from Toy Story.

“Harlow started crying when everyone sang happy birthday and Joel said she was crying tears of joy,” an onlooker said of the 4-year-old, who munched on pizza and juice, along with a sugar-free Cake Diva confection, at the bash. “Everyone had a blast and Joel and Nicole said it was their best kids party yet,” the insider added.

 Simone Lynn Masterson-Horn:

Auntie Tori Spelling sure knows how to throw a party!

Simone Lynn Masterson-Horn, whom is lovingly referred to as “Nuggy” by her dads ‘The Guncles’ – Scout Masterson and Bill Horn – celebrated her first birthday in style at The Carousel at Santa Monica Pier.

Thanks to BFF Tori Spelling who helped plan the party, it was a day to remember! Joined by 60 friends and family, including godmother Spelling and her family, Ali Landry and Sasha Alexander, Simone enjoyed a raspberry and pink ‘Modern Circus’ themed bash. “Simone’s birthday was perfect – good friends, family, lots of fun on the carousal, and of course, cake,” her dads told Celebrity Baby Scoop. “Who doesn’t love birthday cake?! Simone’s now a BIG fan.”

The guests noshed on goodies from Grilled Cheese Patrol, Jenny Cookies and Sweet Lucie’s Organic Ice Cream Truck. The flowers were provided by The Bashful Rose and the invitations were created by Copper Willow Paper Studio. The birthday girl wore a dress by Luna Luna and treated her guests to gift bags from Gotta Have It.

Celebrity Parents On The Pros and Cons of the Paparazzi

Friday, February 10th, 2012

Our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop wrote this post.

There are some experiences that are unique to celebrity parents alone.

Sure, there’s the perks of full-time nannies, house cleaners and gourmet chefs! But with the fame, comes the invasion of privacy…and the paparazzi. Whether they’re waiting at LAX for the jet-setting Beckham family-of-six, or following Heidi Klum and her kids to a local playground, the shutterbugs are never too far from the perfect snapshot. But how do celebrity families deal with their daily presence?

Read about 5 high-profile couples who weigh in on the pros and cons of the paparazzi.

Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale:

Rockstar parents Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have been outspoken about the ever-present paparazzi in their daily lives. The mom-of-two boys - Kingston, 5, and Zuma, 3 – recently admitted there are good and bad parts about having the paparazzi follow her and the family around. “What’s nice is even though they’re annoying, these guys that follow us around, it’s really nice having all these family photos!” Gwen said.

The singer/fashion designer also said she worries about the possible dangers of raising her family in Tinseltown. “The kids, their privacy, a responsibility for them and not knowing if this is going to ruin their lives,” Gwen contemplated about their high-profile life. “They’re so exposed and they don’t have a choice – that scares me a lot. But I think it’s going to be fine,” Gwen added. “My children are very loved. Hopefully, they’re going to grow up and not be crazy because of it. I don’t think there are that many sacrifices – I really don’t want it all to go away.”

Gavin has also talked about the lurking presence of the paparazzi in their day-to-day lives. “We haven’t found the words to explain it,” Gavin said of explaining the paps to their sons. “I’ll want to take my kid to the beach, and there’s six grown men chasing us. He’s running around in his underwear as every child should, and I have to go up to them and say, ‘Can you not photograph my son running around in his underwear?’”

That being said, the Bush rocker can’t deny that the shutterbugs can take amazing snapshots from time to time. He recalled a conversation with his mother Lucy who praised the paps for a sweet shot of her gorgeous grandson. “She goes, ‘I saw a great picture of you guys.’ I played a show in L.A. and there’s a picture of Kingston at the sound mixer – he’s wearing a Rasta hat, he’s got sunglasses on and he’s got a microphone that’s switched off – but he’s singing. My mom’s like, ‘Did you see that picture? That was the best picture!’ I was like, ‘Yeah, it was a paparazzi picture.’ And she says, ‘Yeah, but if we didn’t have that we wouldn’t see what you’re doing.’”

David & Victoria Beckham:

Whether in Europe or North America, power couple David and Victoria Beckham are more than well acquainted with the paparazzi. How does Posh and Becks deal with the nonstop presence of the paps? The mom-of-four said she tries to boost her kids’ self-esteem when explaining the shutterbugs. “I don’t complain about paparazzi because I’ve put myself in that position, and so has David,” Victoria said. “But I always say to the boys, someone is going to take your picture because you’re handsome or you’re smart or because you’re so good at soccer. But every now and again, Romeo might pick up one of David’s cameras and say, ‘Victoria, Victoria, over here!’ And his attitude is sort of angry.”

 Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes:

While most stars have a rocky relationship with the paparazzi especially when their children are being photographed, Tom Cruise said how much he admires some of the shots taken of his beautiful daughter Suri, 5, with wife Katie Holmes. “I have to say some of those paparazzi shots of my daughter are incredible,” Tom said. “As a parent you protect your children but Suri is a very open and warm child and she will just wave to people on the street. She is such [a] happy, fun girl. It is certainly different these days with the media, but people have been very good to us and do give us space so I am not going to be difficult.”
