Looking to add a little glee to your weekend? Well, lucky for you Glee: The 3D Movie(Rated PG) is singing its way into theaters. I’m a huge fan of the show, but I’m on the fence about seeing it in theaters. Let’s face it…a trip to see a 3D movie these days will set you back at least a month worth of Netflix or buying that movie on Blu-ray. And that’s for a TV show you can get for free on Tuesday nights. But I still may cave. I’m a sucker for musical cinema–especially the cheesy kind. Check out a short teaser trailer, featuring my favorite cranky character:
I rarely use the word, “genius,” with a movie trailer. But this one comes pretty close. After watching it, I really want to see the movie. I won’t spoil it for you now by telling you the name of the film. But trust me–it’s worth the watch. Click on the screen below, and let you us know what you think. Were you surprised?
Forget bed bugs. Neil Patrick Harris has to deal with an apartment invasion of another sort: The ’80s cartoon classic. Beat the summer blues with The Smurfs (Rated PG) on the big screen this weekend. Watch the trailer below.
If you’re old-school like me and not a big fan of 3D, Disney’s new Winnie the Pooh movie arrives in theaters today in 2D glory. Check out a clip of the old, silly, willy, nilly bear below.
Kevin James is trying to win your box-office bucks as a romantically challenged Zookeeper (rated PG) this week. Talking animals give me the willies, but they’re always a bit hit with kids. Check out the trailer for the live-action movie below.
The sequel to Kung Fu Panda (rated PG) is karate chopping its way into theaters today. This McDonald-esque commercial from the movie cracked me up. It’s a good thing that pandas don’t have to worry about obesity. Check out the parody clip below, and let us know what you think.
Little Red Riding Hood is popping up in everything these days, from toys to Hollywood thrillers. Now she’s back in an animated sequel, and this Red is no damsel in distress. Check out the trailer for Hoodwinked Too! Hood Vs. Evil (Rated PG).
Don’t get enough American Idol in your week? Then, watch the premiere of Disney’s original film, Lemonade Mouth, tonight at 8 p.m. EST on the Disney Channel. The Glee-esque movie is about a group of wayward students who meet in detention, form a band, and turn their lives around through the power of song. Hey, I heard it happens. Check your local listings for more details and watch the trailer below.
