Numerology of Celebrity Babies & Their Parents

Wednesday, October 16th, 2013

This post was written by our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop.

We’ve called on numerologist Cassandra MacLeane to predict the future and nature of the top celebrity babies of the year. How do they match with their famous parents? What will their personalities be like?

Let’s take a look at some of the most high-profile couples – from Kate Middleton and Prince William, to Fergie & Josh Duhamel, to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West – and how their numerology (mis) matches their new babies. Continue reading Cassandra’s predictions below.

Kate Middleton & Prince William

The most famous parents in the world – Kate Middleton and Prince William – produced a child who could not be more king. It’s like they had planned conception and birth with the idea of producing a perfect heir to the English throne.

Kate and Wills’ son Prince George, born July 22, 2013, is an 8 Life Path baby, under the influence of the master number 22. If you think in terms of energy, this is enormous.

8 is the vibration of the organizer, the entrepreneur, the executive quality, and the person who is better at giving orders than he is at taking them, and also the person perfectly designed to create innovation and stability in the world.

However, this is a big, big personality.

The parents are of gentler life path numbers, and they will need all the help they can get raising this child to live his full potential.

22, the modifying energy in George’s chart, is a strong influence, and gives him the vibration of the master builder. There could not be a more perfect combination for a future king. The description of this chart could go on and on but it would take pages and pages.

As a numerologist, I’m not over the moon about the choice of first name, but, having said that, if there’s one thing Georges know how to do its to keep their inner feelings private. That will probably be helpful in his future role.

As to George’s parents – Kate was born January 9, 1982 giving her a resilient and charming 3 life path. Definitely the vibration of the survivor.

Kate is in an 8 cycle year, next year, when she will fully resume her duties. She will definitely be up to it under the strong energy of the cycle 8 vibration. She is presently in a 7 cycle year – very sensitive.

It’s just as well she was allowed to retreat a little, before and after the birth.

William, born June 3, 1982 is a sensitive 11 Life Path number. 11 is a master number, and should be able to relate very well to his son George who also has the master number 22 as an influence. These two will be great friends.

Fergie & Josh Duhamel

It’s always interesting when a parent produces a child who is the same Life Path as they are.

In this case Fergie, born March 27, 1975, making her a 7 life path under the influence of 9, gave birth to Axl who was born on August 29, 2013, making him a 7 life path as well.

I always tell parents that if they have a child who is the same Life Path as they are, it is important for them to love themselves because they will see themselves reflected in their child every day.

The father of this child, Josh Duhamel, born November 14, 1972, is a 8 life path person under the influence of 5.

8 life path parents are capable of a great deal of love and nurturing, especially for people in their own family. So, although he may not understand the child quite as well as the mother Fergie, he will be able to add a very practical voice to the upbringing of this little boy.

Michael Bublé & Luisana Lopilato

Michael Bublé and wife Luisana Lopilato have produced a child who will keep these two restless and creative souls occupied through all of his growing up years — and probably beyond.

Little Noah, born August 27, 2013, is a 5 life path baby, full of energy, creativity, charm, curiosity and restlessness. 5 life path people are known for their adaptability and their need to be on the move. Noah’s most powerful modifier is 9 (2+7=9). These children are known to be extremely lively and talented.

Noah will be the perfect complement to his parents. Michael is a master number 22 life path, under the influence of 9. No need to explain that great things were expected of him as a child – and he has certainly lived up to his 22 vibration in his career so far. Both artistically and financially.

22 life path people, are meant to have larger than life lives.

Luisana, though dramatic and creative, is actually the quietest energy in this family group. She is a 3 life path person under the influence of 9. Not that 3′s are quiet — in fact, they tend to be quite communicative. But in this dynamic family, Luisana will play the role of peacemaker and stabilizer and provide the glue to keep them all on track.

All three members of this family have 9 as their modifying influence, and therefore, should have a great interest in humanitarian projects.

(Just a note: Michael appeared on my radio show when he was little more than a baby himself — in his teens. At that time I took a look at his numerology and pointed out the potential of his unusual, and powerful life path. Needless to say, has not disappointed.)

Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson

Ace, born to Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson, is a 6 life path child under the influence of 3. This child will require lots of love and nurturing and a stable family life. Little life path 6′s need the love and security of a stable family more than any other life path.

Let’s hope that Jessica, who is an 8 life path under the influence of 1, will understand how important it is to take plenty of time to nurture this child. As an 8 life path person, she is a natural entrepreneur and organizer. It will be a challenge for her to organize her life so that little Ace will get all the quality time and love he needs.

Eric, Ace’s dad, is an 7 life path person under the influence of 9. This is a very intuitive vibration. However, 7 life path people need to remember to speak their love out loud. There is a tendency for 7 life path people to be rather reserved and sometimes even seem a little cool. This doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot of passion and love under the surface.

This is a particularly interesting family, comprised of a very lovey and demonstrative baby, who is a 6 Life Path under the influence of a communicative 3.

Eric, a dad with a big heart, but some limitations on communicating his true feelings, is a 7, under the influence of 9.

And, of course, Jessica is a strong and organizing 8, under the influence of 1.

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West

Kim Kardashian, born October 21, 1980 is a 4 Life Path, and her influence or modifier is the communicating and outgoing 3 (her birthday reduced to one number). 4 and 3 are both vibrations with great communication skills and artistic talent.

Baby North is a 9 life path child, born June 15, 2013, under the influence of 6. We believe that 9 Life Path people are old souls, and that they come to earth with natural wisdom and intuition. This child will be extremely loveable throughout her life, have tons of charisma, and will have a strong need to be of service to others.

Kanye West, born on June 8, 1977, is a 2 life path person, under the influence of 8. Kanye will desire peace in his home, above all else. Peace may be a bit difficult to achieve living with such creative and naturally dramatic family members.

Shakira & Gerard Piqué

Shakira, born February 2, 1977, a 1 life path under the influence of 2.

Gerard Piqué, born February 2, 1987, is an interesting and complex 11 life path under the influence of 2. This is, of course, a master number life path.

Their son Milan was born January 22, 2013, is a 2 life path child under the influence of 22 — another master number.

This is an extremely interesting, powerful, and complex family. Gerard with his 11 Life Path is very compatible with Milan, since they both have master numbers in their charts.

Shakira, the 1 life path mother under the influence of 2, will love her baby unconditionally. She also has an important 2 influence in her chart, which will help her relate to the sensitive side of this child.

How to find your life path number?

First, reduce each unit of your birth date (month/day/year) to a single digit number or a master number (master numbers are 11, and 22). Next, add each of the resulting digits (or master numbers) together and reduce the total again to a single digit, or a master number.

For example, if you were born on October 12, 1981 you would calculate your life path number as follows:

◦ Month: October is the 10th month of the year. 10 reduces to 1 (1+0 = 1)

◦ Day: the date of birth is 12. 12 reduces to 3(1+2 = 3)

◦ The year of birth is 1981 (1+9+8+1 = 19, then 1+9 equals 10 and finally 1+0 =1

◦ Now add the resulting single digit numbers 1+3+ 1 = 5. This is a 5 life path person.

The master numbers, 11 and 22 are left intact, and they’re a little trickier to calculate.

Examples of master number people are Michael Bublé born September 9, 1975:

◦ Month: 9

◦ Day: 9

◦ The year of birth is 1975 (1+9+7+5=22) then 2+2 = 4.

◦ Now add the single digit numbers together

◦ 9+9+4 = 22

Michael Bublé is interesting in that his life path number is a master number 22, and when he reaches age 54 he will actually be even more powerful — a master number 22, under the influence of master number 22.

Now in his life he is a 22 life path person, under the influence of 9. This is a formidable energy.

It seems to be true that more 11 master number people are born than the master number 22.

This is an example of an 11 life path child. February 21, 2004:

◦ Month, February (2nd month of the year so it is expressed as a 2). Day of birth is the 21st, which reduces to 3 (1+2=3)

◦ The year of birth is 2004 (2+0+0+4 = 6)

◦ Now add the digits together and stop when you reach 11

◦ So that is: 2+3+6=11.

Master numbers are harder to calculate, but it is important not to treat an 11 as a 2, or a 2 as a 11. It is equally important to distinguish the difference between 4 and 22.

Numerology is not for sissies!

Snooki: Motherhood Made Me “Grow The Hell Up”

Thursday, October 10th, 2013

This post was written by our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop.

New mom Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is debuting her Snooki Couture by Nicole Polizzi line of headphones and electronic accessories in the “Fashion You Can Hear” line by iHip, available at Walgreens.

The Jersey Shore star opens up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about her “little nugget” 1-year-old son Lorenzo whom “loves music” and has just started to dance. Snooki goes on to say her life has been “completely” transformed by motherhood — and she “wouldn’t have it any other way.” Snooki

CBS: Tell us all about the Snooki Couture by Nicole Polizzi line of headphones and electronic accessories. What’s the inspiration behind it?

Snooki: “I’ve always wanted to have headphones that had style to it. So I decided to come up with my own and add a detachable headband on them. I also made my earbuds like earrings so were always ready to look good. Fashion that you can hear!”

CBS: How do you decide what kinds of products to develop for your Snooki Couture brand?

Snooki: “I want things that I love and that are important to me for my brand. I love having different things and being unique and that’s exactly how I try to make my brand.”

CBS: Did you listen to music when you were pregnant with Lorenzo? If so, what kind? Does he enjoy music now?

Snooki: “I played Lorenzo lots of music when I was pregnant, usually anything that played on the radio. And now, he loves music and is starting to dance. He’s so cool.”

CBS: Do you recommend expectant moms to listen to music?

Snooki: “Anything that makes them happy. When I was expecting, I listened to a lot of Christmas music because it always made me happy.”

CBS: Can you put these headphones on a baby bump?

Snooki: “Of course! I would love to see some pics of that.”

CBS: In our Readers’ Choice Awards, you were voted the celebrity mom most transformed by motherhood. How has motherhood changed you?

Snooki: “Motherhood has completely changed my life — from the way I view things to the way I live my life. Becoming a mom has just made me realize, ‘Grow the hell up.’ And just looking at my son everyday made me realize he’s my life now and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The best thing about being a mom is knowing that my little nugget is mine and will always be my baby. He’s my sunshine.”

CBS: Are you enjoying Dancing with the Stars? What have been the biggest surprises so far?

Snooki: “DWTS is amazing. I’m loving the experience and loving everyone on the cast. The biggest surprise is how hard it is! I knew it was going to be a challenge, but had no idea how big of a challenge. I love the fact that I push myself every week to learn a new ballroom dance that I never even imagined I would be doing.

Baby Miracles With Hilaria Baldwin: “Birth Was Absolutely Incredible”

Friday, October 4th, 2013

Hilaria Baldwin wife of Alec Baldwin

Interview by Ilyssa Panitz

Hilaria Baldwin would have to agree with the old saying that good things happen in threes. She just released her new Fit Mommy-to-Be prenatal DVD; her husband, Emmy-winner Alec Baldwin, is set to become the host for a new talk show on MSNBC; and — last but not least in the trio of bliss — the couple’s baby girl, Carmen Gabriela, made her big New York debut on August 23. Parents.com caught up with the new working mom a second time to find out what motherhood is like in the fast lane. (Read a previous interview with Hilaria about pregnancy and fitness secrets.) Follow her on Twitter @hilariabaldwin.

If you had to sum up the birth of your child in one word, which one would you pick?

WOW. There isn’t one word that is strong enough to describe the feeling. Birth was absolutely incredible. My husband said it was a miracle, and I agree that it was pretty miraculous. I didn’t realize I could love something so deeply.

Some new moms write down when they feed the baby and change her, and how long she sleeps, so they can learn their child’s pattern. Have you done the same? What is Carmen’s schedule?

I was writing everything down at the beginning, especially before she gained back her birth weight. Now I am at the point where Carmen and I are in sync with each other, so I no longer have to write everything down. Carmen wakes up around 11 P.M. and then again around 2 A.M. and 5:30 A.M.

I read that baby Carmen has her days and nights confused. How are you coping with the situation?

We had some nights that were rough. She is up every two to three hours because she needs to eat, but she also likes to hang out and spend time with us.

What has been the biggest adjustment you had to make?

I am definitely sleeping differently, but I think my last trimester prepared me for the lack of sleep, because I was waking up all the time needing the bathroom! (Laughs) Aside from the sleep issue, I’ve also had to adjust to having another person in the house. My little person has needs, and because we love her so much, we want to cater to her every single need and make her as happy as possible. Another thing I have adjusted: priorities. I used to run to this meeting and that meeting, and now my life revolves around home, where we build everything around Carmen’s schedule.

What books or websites have you found useful?

When I was pregnant I read, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel. If I have any other questions, I go right to the Internet or I ask my baby nurse or my mom.

What books do you like to read to Carmen?

Are You My Mother?, by P.D. Eastman. I even read it to her in Spanish because I want her to speak Spanish. When I read this book, Carmen just coos, shifts her head from side to side, and smiles.

Your husband has been down the baby road before, so has he given you any advice?

It was so long ago — it’s really apples and oranges. He feels that this is a brand-new experience. But you can tell he has done this before. He’s so at ease when he holds the baby. I honestly feel like we are both new parents who are taking this journey together.

Rising Stars: 5 Celebrity Kids Enter Showbiz

Wednesday, September 4th, 2013

This post was written by our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop.

With the recent news that Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith‘s daughter Dakota Johnson, 23, will star as Anastasia Steele in the much anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, we’re taking a look at 5 celebrities and their very own rising stars.

If you were in show business, would you want your children to follow in your footsteps? Check out which celeb parents have encouraged their children to enter the wild world of fame and fortune.

Melanie Griffith

Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson’s daughter Dakota Johnson, 23, followed family tradition by becoming an actress.

Her grandmother, Tippi Hedren, was one of Hitchcock’s cool blondes and starred in Marnie and The Birds, and her mom was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in Working Girl.

And just like her famous mom, Dakota was a Miss Golden Globe.

But on Monday, author E. L. James Tweeted, “I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Dakota is a model-turned-actress who has been seen in The Social Network and the short-lived sitcom Ben and Kate.

Andie MacDowell

St. Elmo’s Fire actress Andie MacDowell and ex-husband Paul Qualley are parents to three kids: Justin, 27, Rainey, 24, and Sarah Margaret, 18.

While Justin lives in Montana and training to be an English teacher, her two daughters are breaking into the business.

The youngest – just known as Margaret – is a model.

“Wherever she ends up, I know I’ll never have to worry about her,” Andie said of her youngest child. “I let her move to New York City alone aged 16, because I knew it was right for her. She’s just a really good kid. I think it’s partly the discipline from dancing and partly her personality, but I’ve never had to tell her to do her homework and never had to worry about her getting in trouble.”

She added: “She’s so reliable and motivated. She’s really got her head screwed on.”

Meanwhile, Rainey bestowed the title of Miss Golden Globe in 2012, and has starred in Mighty Fine, Falcon Song, and Mothers Day.

Will Smith

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith are all-for their kids entering the family business. Both of their children – son Jaden, 15, and daughter Willow, 12 – have graced the big screen.

Jaden costarred with his father in The Pursuit of Happyness, appeared alongside Keanu Reeves in The Day the Earth Stood Still, and starred in the remake of the Karate Kid. Willow made her acting debut alongside her papa in I Am Legend and later lit up the big screen in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl.

So what does Will think of his kids entering the family business?

“She has a drive. She has an energy and she just connects to human emotion,” Will said of his daughter. “I think a big part was probably [seeing] Jaden after The Pursuit of Happiness. She saw what Jaden did, and she was like, ‘I want that,’” Will added. “Jaden is [like] Johnny Depp. He just wants to do good work . . . He loves acting, he just wants to make good movies,” Will said and joked, “and Willow is Paris Hilton. Willow wants to be on TV.”

Will has also addressed his kids’ fame and fortune.

“It may seem like we have pushed our kids into the business, but that is absolutely insane,” he said. “I would never, ever, push somebody to have their face on a poster that’s going be everywhere in the world. He is making a choice from the informed. It’s less scary to me than if he wanted to be a dentist in that I couldn’t help with what he’d chosen. I have relationships with some of the biggest filmmakers and actors and producers on Earth. So I can be a huge help.”

Candace Cameron Bure

When Full House star Candace Cameron Bure sat down with Celebrity Baby Scoop, the busy mother of three said that her daughter Natasha has caught the acting bug while her son Maks hopes to be a hockey star just like papa Valeri Bure.

“Our kids are making that choice for themselves, and it seems they are following in both our footsteps,” she said. “My daughter wants to act, and we’re allowing her to audition. My son Lev wants to be a tennis player, and Maks wants to be a hockey player. They’re all pretty determined and focused to pursue those goals.”

She added: “We’re supportive of whatever they choose to do, as long as they work hard and put all their effort into it and not quit when it gets rough.”

Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis has three daughters - Rumer, 25, Scout, 22, and Tallulah, 19 – with ex-wife Demi Moore. Bruce has talked about his eldest daughter Rumer who has acted in films such as Now and Then and Striptease and TV shows such as 90210 and Sorority Row.

Turns out Bruce not only supports Rumer’s acting career, he also thinks she’ll make her way through the limelight of Hollywood without a problem.

“Rumer’s not only got the [acting] bug, Rumer’s successful — and she’s got a great head on her shoulders,” Bruce said. “[She] wasn’t raised in Los Angeles, so she knows the difference between the illusion of Hollywood and what real life is.”

5 Celebrity Grandparents: The Joys of Generations

Wednesday, August 21st, 2013

This post was written by our friends at Celebrity Baby Scoop.

Let’s hear it for Grandma and Grandpa!

In celebration of National Grandparent’s Day on September 8, we’re taking a look at five famous grandparents and their joys of watching the generations grow.

Garth Brooks

Country crooner Garth Brooks recently entered the grandparents club this summer when his middle daughter, 19-year-old August Anna Brooks and boyfriend Chance Michael Russell, welcomed their first child – a girl named Karalynn.

Grandpa Garth, 51, has since issued a statement since his first grandchild’s birth:

“Our family would first like to thank everyone for their warm wishes and sweet celebration of Baby K’s arrival,” he said. “Our children’s lives have always been extremely private and they have been endlessly encouraged to be their own people. We have always wanted them to be individuals and NOT be known as ‘someone’s daughters.’”

He added: “I have been amazed and grateful how the press has always respected this. I now ask that respect to please continue as this young family begins the greatest days of their lives.”

Goldie Hawn

Legendary actress Goldie Hawn, 67, and her ex-husband Bill Hudson have two grown children and five grandchildren.

After the recent birth of her fifth grandchild – her only granddaughter – the Academy Award-winning actress announced the joyous addition to her growing family.

“Welcome Rio! Our first baby girl to join our family!” Goldie proudly tweeted. “Oliver and Erinn thank you for bringing so much JOY to our lives! #happiness.”

According to the Private Benjamin star, being a grandmother is “Love with a capital L!”

“[I hope to teach them] to become as resilient as they can,” she added. “We all get knocked down, but the measure of the man is how fast you get up. And I think that’s what I’d really like to instill in the kids. We’re all going to fail, we’re all going to mess up, but it’s not as much about that as it is learning from your mistakes and getting up real fast.”

Alana Stewart

Alana Stewart and her rocker ex-husband Rod Stewart have two grown children: daughter Kimberly Stewart and son Sean. Kimberly and Academy Award-winning actor Benicio del Toro are proud co-parents of daughter Delilah, who turns 2 in August.

Alana, 68, recently talked to Celebrity Baby Scoop about the joys of being a “Nana” and her “strong-willed” granddaughter.

“I just spent most of the weekend with Kimberly, my daughter, helping her with Delilah,” Alana said. “She’s been a full-time mother 24/7 and by the weekend she really needs Nana (that would be me!) to give her a break now and then.”

She added: “Delilah is a barrel of energy. She’s just adorable and quite a little character. She’s very strong-willed, stubborn, and doesn’t like to take “no” for an answer. I guess you could say it runs in the family.”

Ron Howard

Legendary filmmaker Ron Howard and his high school sweetheart, Cheryl, have been married for 38 years. They are proud parents to four grown children and two grandchildren.

The Happy Days alum, 59, opened up about the “profound” experience of being a grandfather.

“My daughter Bryce has a son … and I love being with him,” Ron gushed. “I didn’t remotely understand how profound the experience of being a grandparent is until you become one. It’s interesting, when you become a grandparent you start bumping into other folks who have had that experience. And there’s this sort of wink and a nod like it’s sort of a club or something.”

Blythe Danner

With both Emmy and Tony awards to her name, Blythe Danner has played many memorable parts over the years. But it sounds as though her favorite role to date just might be that of doting grandmother.

The Meet the Fockers star, 70, said she loves the time she spends with her daughter Gwyneth Paltrow‘s kids Apple and Moses.

“I don’t feel like a grandmother with them,” she gushed. “I get on my hands and knees and act like a complete fool! We have a lot of fun together.”

And it sounds like she’d love the whole family – including famous son-in-law, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin - to live a little closer.

“I would love them next door, banging away on the drums, and Chris writing new songs,” she added.

This Dad’s Got Talent: Nick Cannon on Raising Toddlers and Pets

Thursday, August 8th, 2013

Nick CannonInterview by Ilyssa Panitz

Nick Cannon is in the dog house, literally! The America’s Got Talent host and husband of Grammy Award–winner Mariah Carey owns eight Jack Russell terriers. It’s no surprise, then, that Cannon teamed up with IAMS So Good to teach pet owners how to keep their loveable pooches happy and healthy. Parents.com caught up with the famous TV star to find out how he and his famous wife teach their children (2-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan) about animal safety.

How did you teach your toddlers how to pet the dogs? Did you and Mariah rely on a book or watch a video to teach your children how to pet the pooches?

Mariah was the one who taught them, because not only is she a long-time dog owner, but we had our puppies and kids at the same time. She demonstrated over and over how to pet the dogs nicely and with care. She would take our kids’ hands and let them do it so they really grasped the concept of how to be kind to the dogs. Over time, they got it. The kids are really good to the dogs and treat them like precious babies.

Do you and Mariah give the twins any jobs when it comes to caring for the dogs?

The kids love to help feed the dogs. They know when the dogs are hungry. When they see the bowls are empty, they say, “Daddy, we need to feed them, so put food in.”

When you and Mariah read books to the children, do they gravitate to stories about dogs? What’s their favorite book that has an animal as a main character?

They love stories about animals in general. They love stories that have to do with dogs, bears, and lions. They especially love lions right now! Goodnight Moon, by Margaret Wise Brown, is their favorite.

How do you get your children to play with the dogs?

The kids love to run around in the backyard with the dogs. Not only are they getting exercise, but they are really bonding with the dogs. As the dogs try to keep up with them, the kids laugh because they are having so much fun.

As a family how do you, Mariah, the children, and the dogs like to spend time together? Pets are known to get jealous sometimes when their owners have children. Have you experienced that?

We all go swimming, play with the ball, or go for a walk together. We do a lot together as a family. When we do family activities that include the dogs, they never feel left out.

In addition to pets being a big part of your life, I assume music is, too?

Music is on all day long. The kids love when we sing them lullabies to sleep. During the day, we play a lot of soul music. The kids are naturally musically inclined and they love listening to it.

Baby Cambridge’s Debut With Kate and William: Royal Baby News

Tuesday, July 23rd, 2013

Baby Cambridge debuts with Kate Middleton and Prince WilliamKate Middleton and Prince William emerged from the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital today to debut their new baby prince. “It’s very emotional,” said new mom Kate, “It’s such a special time. I think any parent would know what this feeling feels like.”

According to William, they’re still debating names for their new son, but the proud new dad said that we’ll know when they know.

Beyond Kate looking amazing (I’d heard rumors that her beloved hair dresser had arrived at the hospital earlier today, and her locks were of course in perfect form), both parents seemed so super happy—and actually eager to share their little one with the world. In fact, Prince William took a front-and-center role in the brief interview they granted the throngs of long-waiting press.

When a reporter asked if they’d already changed the royal baby’s first “nappy” (that’s “diaper” in American speak!), Kate revealed that not only had her husband, Prince William, been present for Baby Cambridge’s birth (sadly, a historic event for the royals!), but that he also changed his son’s first diaper. Perhaps the royals are finally catching up to the rest of the world when it comes to hands-on fatherhood!

Although we didn’t get a good look at the (possibly) future King’s little face, William joked that “he’s got her looks, thankfully,” and that in the hair department, Baby Cambridge has “way more than me, thank God!”

To top off the new-dad offensive, Prince William showed the world that he knows how to handle a car seat (sexy, right ladies?!) and then, perhaps setting the stage for a far more modern royal family, he drove his new family home himself. No chauffeur in site. Love. It.

Take a look back at the Royal pregnancy, Kate and Will’s romance, and more with our Royal Baby slideshow.
