Parents Goody Giveaway: Win a Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Prize Package

As a child of Pittsburgh, I can tell you that Mister Roger’s Neighborhood was THE show to watch. Not saying kids across the country loved it any less than us folks from the ‘burgh, but the fact that the studio was based right in our own backyard definitely gave us a little sense of pride.

Regardless of coordinates, fans all over were sad the day host Fred Rogers decided to hang up his beloved red cardigan in 2001. Thankfully, today’s youngsters can still get a taste of his humble teachings through Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood on PBS Kids.

The animated series reimagines the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, a fictional kingdom from the original show known for its lively characters, such as Henrietta Pussycat and X the Owl. In this new world, viewers follow the adventures of the puppets’ children and younger relatives, including the title star Daniel Tiger, son to Daniel Striped Tiger, Mr. Roger’s first-ever puppet to appear on the show. Each episode, Daniel and his friends must navigate concepts tricky to early learners, including disappointment and sadness. With a few musical tunes, the cast always finds a way to end on a positive note.

In honor of the show’s new holiday episode Snowflake Day, the Fred Rogers Company is offering a super prize package including a Daniel Tiger All-in-1 Set, Daniel Tiger Trolley Set as well as a multi-pack of figures and several mini plush characters. Plus, you’ll receive the musical album, currently available on iTunes, from the new special, airing for the last time Christmas Day on PBS. Don’t miss it!
