Take Our Gun-Safety Pledge

Nearly 1.7 million children under 18 live with a loaded or unsecured gun in the house, and more than 3,000 are injured by firearms annually—most often at home or while visiting a friend, relative, or caregiver. Another 140 minors are accidentally killed by guns each year.

What can you do? Teach your child what to do if he sees a gun:

  1. Stop.
  2. Don’t touch.
  3. Leave the area.
  4. Tell an adult.

But don’t stop there. Take these additional steps to keep your child (and many others) safe.
