We prefer Graco because they are generally inexpensive while still maintaining a quality that matches other high end brands.

We skipped the infant seat and went straight to the convertible. We picked the Britax Marathon-70. We’ve been very happy with it!

The Graco Snugride is on its second user. I love that I can also easily pop it into the Snap n Go when baby is really little. It is a sturdy, relatively cost effective seat.

As for the stroller, I was at first deterred by the Uppa Baby Vista’s price point, but we looked around and found it at wholesale. It has grown with our family (we now use the rumble seat and buggy board) and I love taking it with me grocery shopping (lots of room underneath). For city living, the wheels are super duper stable. Overall, a fabulous stroller for a mom-on-the-go who might be expanding her family one day and needs something sturdy and resilient.

We have a Britax Boulevard 70CS car seat that we LOVE. The click and save technology is amazing and really helps get the right fit. It is big and comfy for my little boy!

We also have the Britax B-agile stroller. It’s rides great, very smooth, AND it’s so light! So easy to fold up, too!

Our favorite car seat is the Diono Radian R120. It can go backfacing to 45 lbs, front to 80 lbs, and then converts into a booster seat for up to 120 lbs. And you can fit 3 across an SUV, pickup or mini-van bench seat. Plus it has cup-holders and a 10 year life – so it’s the only seat you’ll ever need to buy for your child. I wouldn’t ever buy anything but this seat.

I have a Graco that served me just fine. It was light enough and easy to use. But then I got pregnant with twins. I use both the Graco duo glider (which I use in when I go shopping or to the doctor’s office) or my Valco EX twin. I do love my Valco even though it is big and heavy but it has a really nice ride.

I am having baby number 3 and love the graco snug ride. All the products that go along with it including the snap and go stroller are great , and we even have the double sit and stand stroller by graco. These products may not be as posh as others but are light, easy to use , and very safe.

We love the Baby Jogger City select stroller for our 2 year old and baby. It is great to change the seats around how we want them and we love how easily the seats pop in and out. We use it as a single stroller and as a double depending on what we need.

We used Graco SnugRides with both our girls for their first year and have no complaints. The price is good and they are well made. I also like that they are compatible with so many strollers.

I have tried lots of strollers! There are things I like and dislike for just about all of them, but I will say my Combi double is one that has really impressed me. I love how it folds up because I don’t have to bend down to pick it up once folded and I can stand it straight up behind the seat in my van so that it takes up very little space. It is also light compared to most double strollers. Both seats recline and have cup holders. Plus, baskets under each seat and my girls love riding in it!

I love our son’s True Fit (the first years). Very cush-y, easy to install (once you get the latch guides figured out) and sturdy. we have the basic one, which at it’s price was a great deal with safety and comfort, plus he’s used it since birth and it fit him perfectly.

Our stroller is an Inglesina Swift. I love it! Both of our kids can ride in it, weight limit up to 55lbs and a deep recline for nap days, plus a generous canopy, which is similar to baby jogger’s. The handles are quite tall and even as an umbrella style stroller it has good control when you need to use one hand. The basket is ample and after getting used to the locking mechanism, I really like it. It makes it a nice safety feature, so kids can’t pinch their fingers. At $130 it is definitely worth it.

We love the Baby Jogger City Mini because it’s easy to steer, durable, lightweight, and super easy to fold with one hand!

I recommend our Britax seats to everyone!!!!! I’ve had Graco, Baby Trend and Evenflo in the past and none come even close to the quality of ANY of our Britax seats! We love both the Chaperone and B Safe for infants and our older two are very happy and safe in their 5point harnesses on the Frontier 85 seats! And our middle child is happily still rear facing at 2 1/2 in his Advocate70cs!

As for strollers, the Stokke Xplory is my recommendation! It’s got a great design with comfort for baby and ease of use for parents in mind! Best stroller EVER! And now they came out with some new strollers that I imagine are top notch as well!

The Snug & Ride from Graco was perfect for both of my children from birth until they transitioned into a toddler car seat. It kept them safely secure, yet they didn’t feel stifled.

We have a Britax B-Ready stroller with two seats and will never need another stroller. I can use it with one seat when I’m out with my son, or if running errands with both kids they are safe and sound, with room to spare. I love that I can steer it with one hand. BEST STROLLER!

I personally received a Safety 1st stroller car seat combo at my first baby shower. I was beyond grateful! As my baby girl gets older, I must say, however, that the quality of the stroller is pretty cheap. It is extremely difficult to steer (I have to apologize to people and walls everywhere I go. Lol) and the basket is ripped at the bottom from dragging. The car seat does the job but isn’t the sturdiest. However, I am a very appreciative person so I don’t complain much unless my child is in danger; and I as far as that goes, it does serve it’s purpose and has kept her safe.
Now that being said, my sister bought a jogger stroller, car seat combo for her son and it’s magical. She saved up her gift cards and she was genius for doing that! It is well worth the price and provides amazing convenience and comfort for both you and baby. It is secure, easy to steer, cozy, stylish, and you can run with it! What’s not to love?

We chose the Peg Perego infant seat and loved it. We felt it offered a lot of safety/protection and just felt high quality – plus it fit nicely in my small car. After 14 months of use, it’s still like new. We’re about to move up to a Britax Marathon.

I bought an Uppa Baby stroller as our main stroller after a lot of deliberation. I love that baby can face either direction, it is easy to fold, it’s lightweight and it’s compact when folded. Everything from the brake to the basket is well designed and I think it’s more stylish than many strollers. It was expensive, but I have no regrets. It has never been a hassle to use and that means I’m happier, baby is happier and we’re more likely to go out and about.

My favorite single stroller is the City Mini. Nothing compares to it’s light weight and compact size– especially when you’re enormously pregnant and trying to get a stroller in and out of a car. For more than one kid I like the Britax B-Ready– I like the ability to make it a single or double without it being hideously huge like non- inline doubles. I felt it was of higher quality and had a sturdier frame than the City Select.

  42. by Wendy K

    On February 6, 2013 at 10:43 pm

I currently have 2 Britax– a roundabout 55 and a BLVD. I love them. I had several car seats before Britax– a graco my ride 65, a safety 1st air, a baby trend infant seat (something I will never purchase again), just to name a few. None equaled the quality of the Britax. I do think for the next baby I will get a radian because they can be used as boosters but that’s the only other brand I will use.

Our Britax B-Ready with an attachment for our Chicco Keyfit 30 has been wonderful! It folds easily, has a great storage area, is easy to adjust, etc. The Keyfit 30 is also very easy to use – easy to install and adjust with our son’s growth.

We have the Baby Jogger City Mini as our stroller and the Chicco Key Fit 30 as our infant seat. As a 1st time mom I had no clue which to get because they all seemed alike. Thankfully we had a super friendly employee at BRU that helped and he was right! The City Mini is SO easy to set up and break down and the Chicco seat was easy to install and equally as easy to get in and out of the car. I feel my baby is super safe in both of these choices!

We like the Eddie Bauer stroller. It came with a carseat and carseat base. It was reasonably priced, stylish, and durable. It also is good up to 35lbs so we don’t have to buy another one until she is at least 35lbs. Which by then, she should be in a booster seat. We love it. For the Graco carseat, I have had family members use them and they seem like great ones.

We have a Baby Trend jogging stroller. We spend a lot of time on the soccer field and the large wheels on this stroller are a must! In the past we have broken wheels off strollers because of the rough terrain.
I like the Graco nautilus carseat. What originally caught my eye was the built in cup holder. (always knocking the clip on kind off getting in and out of other carseats) loved that it grew with the child and it’s sturdy construction.

I have used Baby Jogger strollers for a total of 5 years (along with many other brands) and they were the lightest and easiest to use and my hand-down favorite. The 1-step pull to fold was amazing. You can also buy an infant seat adaptors for most brands. Their strollers also have high weight limits and tall seatbacks, too.

I really loved the Britax B-safe for its super easy install and how easy it was to use. Britax always has really wonderful customer service. Lots of fun color styles too.

Love britax because they are so easy to use. Our b agile stroller is 16 lbs and folds with the press of one buttton. Living in an upstairs apartment, this is really convenient! It’s compact and doesn’t take up my whole trunk space. Even though its small, it’s still super sturdy and has the option to fix the from wheel so I can take it on the occassional jog. The boulevard 70-g3 convertable seat latches in with extreme ease. Baby girl LOVES te soft fabric on the wings and it is available in a cute muted zebra pattern. Super convenient features help baby get in and out easily: large harness release button, stay forward tech to keep baby from sitting on latch, and Velcro on the sides to keep the harness out from under baby.

I love our Chicco KeyFit 30 and regret ever even considering buying a different car seat! I briefly entertained the idea of going straight to a convertible seat, but thanked the heavens for our Chicco when our little guy was born a 4 lb., 5 oz. preemie. He turns 1 this weekend and the Chicco still works beautifully. It’s easy to use and so safe. Pair it with the BabyTrend Snap n Go stroller and you have an amazing, easy, fairly compact travel system!

In terms of strollers, I have a few things I look for
1: weight, anything that is too heavy makes it impracticle for me to put in my car myself, is no good. There are some great strollers out there, that are wonderful in most respect, but are so heavy.
2: easy to fold/unfold: some strollers look great, but is much too inconvenient to fold/unfold, which makes it a bear to use, how would you expect to juggle your child(ren) and a stroller and maintain your sanity?
3: recline: not a deal breaker if the seat doesn’t recline or have multiple recline options, but you need a full recline for a newborn and a little recline for comfortable napping for older babies
4: maneuverability: if pushing the stroller is like pushing a shopping cart, pass. You want something that can handle over all sorts of terrain from grass to the perfectly laid tiles of a mall to carpet and to uneven driveways, one handed.
5: cost: do I have to say more?
6: compact fold: this isn’t a deal breaker either, but it’s something to consider for storing in your car, etc
7: overall ease of use and practical use vs cost and frequency of use.

So what would my vote be for the best stroller? It depends on how old my child is and where I plan to use it, but overall, I’d vote for an umbrella stroller or a higher end ultralight weight compact stroller for when the kid is 6+ months old and a snap’n go type stroller for the infant carseat or the City Jogger Mini.

For infant car seats? I saw go Graco Snugride, easy to use and affordable. If you have more cash and you buy a high end stroller, get the Britax Chaperone or MaxiCossi Micro, but your kid will be moving on to a conversion within a year so Graco has my vote. Save our money for a conversion car seat.

For conversion car seats? It highly depends on your car, not all conversion car seats are built the same. What fits in one, does not fit in another. I personally really like the Diono Radian, but it weighs a to and is expensive, but it could fit 3 across, which is awesome if you have more than one kid. I also like the Britax Marathon, but again,it’s a little pricey, not as expensive as the Radian, but not cheap. I would recommend against the britax Roundabout or Recardo Proride, as both seats are large and kids have been known to outgrow it before needing to move on to the highback booster. I’d also recommend the Graco conversion seats as well, because they are comfortable for the kids and fair priced. Now if someone wants to spend a pretty penny, I’d consider the Clek Foonf, but at 400-500$ a seat… That’s too expensive for me

Britax Decathlon because a child in a town near us was in a minivan and was hit by a train and survived with not a scratch while in this car seat. Local fire dept said the seat definately saved the child’s life. Costs more than many but I wouldn’t put a price on my child’s life.

For car sets Britax is the way, while a bit costly they last a long time and have all the necessary safety features we as parents look for.

For Strollers I love Maclaren very lightweight and easy to use.

I love my Maclaren stroller. Lightweight, sturdy and I was able to use it with a newborn without having to have a car seat like a travel system. It is great and much easier to get around with. And will last till we don’t need a stroller as far as child size is concerned.

We love our baby jogger stroller! It is great for country walks and malls alike, folds easily with one hand and is compact. We love the ease of use such as the adjustable handles and the comfortableness of the ample sunshade.

We chose a graco infant carseat and have loved it. Even though our baby has grown quickly it has carried us through nearly a whole year. I love the convenience of carrying her in the carseat and the cute pattern of the cover. Safety was a big factor in our choice as well and we plan to buy a britax rear to front facing carseat when she outgrows the infant one.

    For Carseats:
I love our carseat. I have tried other ones while visiting family, but the Chicco Keyfit 30 is hands down the best carseat. My baby hates carseats of any type, but this carseat has an easy release for the straps. This is such a wonderful feature, because I can loosen the strap to get her in or out easily, and simply pull the strap tight when she’s all buckled in. It’s also super simple to adjust to her proper size whether she’s grown or she’s wearing more or less bulky clothing. I also love how I won’t need to buy another carseat until she’s 30 lbs. She properly fit in this carseat since she was a newborn, and is only on the second setting now at nearly seven months old. She stil has plenty of use to go with this seat. I also love how it is compatible with the Baby Jogger stroller. I have recommended this carseat countless times, and miss it dearly when I’m out of town using someone else’s carseat. It’s conscience really helps moms out, which we can use all the help we can get!

    For Stroller:
We prefer Baby Jogger, because they offer a stroller called “City Mini”. It is amazing and everyone who tries it out either wants one or gets one themselves! I wanted a three wheel stroller for ease of turning and maneuvering, but I didn’t want it to be large and bulky. With the City Mini by Baby Jogger, I can literally turn the stroller in circles, and going through doors and tight spaces are a cinch. Plus, I can fit probably six of them in my trunk when it’s folded up, and it’s only 17lbs. I love how I can simply grab the handle, located in the seat of the stroller, and the steoller simply snaps up and I can place it in my back seat or trunk with one arm, while holding groceries, a diaper bag, and a baby in the other arm. However, it still allows me to attach a carseat to it, if I choose to do so. All I need is the adaptor. The canopy on the stroller is simply incredible and is pretty much the largest I have seen on a stroller, which is great for keeping the Texas sun off of my six month old, or winter wind and rain. Hands down, you can not and will not find a better stroller than this for the price. It’s stylish, convenient, adaptable for whatever lifestyle (city or jogging), and loaded with features. I will recommend this stroller to every parent I meet.

With these two products, I feel like every day tasks are made so much easier and convenient. The different features of these products allow moms to be at ease while having the least amount of struggles or stresses that are common complaints with other products.

I did tons of research on carseats before making my final decision. We chose the Chicco Keyfit 30 and I have heard nothing but good things about it. I was told by the NICU staff at the hospital that it is the best and easiest carseat on the market. My baby weighed less than 6 lbs when we were sent home and she fit perfectly in it!
For our stroller, we chose the Britax B-ready. I wanted something that we could use on all types of terrain and was durable and easy to use. We haven’t gotten to use it outside yet because it’s too cold, but I’m sure we are going to love it.

My husband and I have been shopping for stroller (Graco Quattro) and car seat (Graco SnugRide35, Chicco Keyfit30) for our soon to arrive baby girl.
Most of my family members use Graco and Chicco products for their kids. Since we have gotten to experience firsthand during babysitting and outings the baby kids for 2 years the feel (soft, easy to clean), quality (comfortable and long-lasting) and safety features of Graco, we are very partial to Graco!

I have been partial to Graco SnugRide Classic Connect 35 Infant Car Seat since my nephew has been using it for past few years. I loved the features of the car seat: its texture, ease of strapping and colors. But one of the features did not make it perfect for me…it is a little wide and a little heavier.
However the Chicco Ketfit30 infant car seat has sold me. Whenever I take my niece out, the straps are easy to adjust and the cushion feels soft. Tightening and loosening the straps is one of the features I love because it is Soo simple, just by the push of a button. The base makes it easy to take in and out of your car without unstrapping the baby. The car seat is very safe!!

Also we are absolutely looking forward to the new model of Graco’s: Graco Modes Click Connect Travel System Stroller.

We also love our BRITAX convertible car seats, our little guy is comfortable and safe and they are easy to install properly.

We LOVE Britax. We had them for our infant carseat, I believe it was the Britax B-Safe. we have the B-Agile stroller that attaches to the infant carseat. They set up, and break down very easily. We just got the Britax Boulevard 70CS, and we absolutely love it. My son loves to rub his face against the padding around his head because it is so soft. I drive a small car, but I feel completely safe with my baby in this carseat. I wouldn’t trade it.

We are pretty loyal to the Britax brand! My husband surprised me and entered a daddy contest and won us a Britax stroller which is amazing! We also have the Britax carseat which was great, my only complaint it was too large to fit like most do in the grocery carts. Now with another one on the way we are currently in the process of researching double strollers but are having a hard time finding one that fits the car seat we have!

I suppose if the Britax & Orbit price tags are not grossly overpriced to you the fabrics seem nicer, but for me every Graco product we own is hands down the most bang for the buck. All the car seat brands are safe so I don’t feel the extra features Britax and Orbit are charging is worth an extra $300. All the other reasonably priced brands look and feel like junk.

We have a BOB stroller in black with the matching BOB Britax carseat. The reason we chose it was for versatility and that it would grow with our child. My husband is an ultrarunner so he liked the jogging capabilities. It’s pretty easy to “collapse” it and then pop back open, and the wheels pop off easily for travel. It’s well built and sturdy. My only thing is that it’s a little heavy. But compared to other strollers we looked at, it was pretty much the same weight and has 2-3 times the number of features and functionality. Also the weight capacity is also very good, so it will last us a long time;)

I love how easy our snug ride 35 is to install and that we were about to use it until our first little one was almost 22 months old, keeping her rear facing longer. The price point is also ideal

I have a baby jogger city mini double and I really don’t know how I would ever use another double stroller. Its light weight and folds small enough to fit in my Honda Civic. I really love my maclaren volo too which is my favorite stroller. Is compact and easy to whip out of the car but comfortable enough to use all day

I have owned two strollers and love them both for different reasons although neither one was listed here in the voting categories. The first was a Maxi Cosi Foray LX and it is a beast… so strong and sturdy we could take this thing anywhere, it cleans up great and was the best travel system I could have asked for with my newborn. The second stroller we bought was the Maclaren Volo and I bought that one because it was so light weight and had a rain cover. I use public transportation all the time and as my little one has grown and become more mobile I wanted a stroller that was super portable, could go anywhere, was compact, had a good rain cover (we live where it rains all the time) and that I could easily travel with. We’ve taken it everywhere and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Plus Maclaren’s customer service team has been amazing with their support.

As for car seats, we’re loyal Maxi Cosi fans and I’d be hard pressed to ever go with a different brand. We used the Maxi Cosi Mico and then the Pria and they have been amazing. We put my daughter in and she goes right to sleep. My husband has even said that if he was choosing a car seat for himself this is the one he’d want to sit in all the time. Plus they come in such fun colors and have a very stylish design and great safety ratings. What more could you want?

My son who is now 7, always had a Graco car seat and stroller. I love the Graco products because they are sturdy and long lasting, yet affordable, which are good qualities that a single mom, such as myself, looks for. His car seat was passed on to another child, whose parent loved it as well. His stroller saw many miles and was still in great condition when he was finished with it. Once he graduated to a booster seat, I purchased a Graco brand. He has had the same booster for 4 years now and it is still in perfect condition. The fabric has not worn or faded at all. I am expecting again in a few months and plan on buying Graco brand products for my new child as well.

I love Peg Perego. We have two stroller – the Skate and the Si. We use the Skate for strolling around the neighborhood and on going to parks. The big rubber wheels make it all-terrain and easy to maneuver. I love the height it gives my baby/toddler when we go to parks. I don’t have to take her off the stroller to see the animals. The other parents envy her! The Si is perfect air traveling and to bring to malls as it’s light and easy to fold and small enough to maneuver aisles.

Ofcourse we had to get the Peg Perego car seats. The infant seat is the best with side impact. The toddler seat has the same safety features and very stylish.
