American Baby’s Baby Booty: Win a Chicco Cortina Travel System
It’s always exciting when a new player drops into our annual American Baby Bests awards. This year, we have a new favorite in the all-important stroller category: Chicco. Their Cortina wins lots of praise from parents, because it’s got a plush seat, is easy to push, simple to fold, and is thank-goodness affordable (under $200). The reviews on BabiesRUs.com mirror what our readers tell us, which is that the strollers are durable and appropriate for the littlest cuties. 
Chicco’s car seat, the Keyfit, also sneaks up the ranking in our poll each year. I want to mention it in this post because Chicco shared a really useful car-seat infographic with us this week.

My kids tend to be on the chunkier side so we had trouble finding a convertible seat that would allow them to grow comfortably. Most fit taller thinner kids. My 5 month just moved to a rear facing convertible because he didn’t fit in his infant carrier even though he is nowhere near the 30″ or 30lbs limits.

I would love this stroller/carseat combo! My baby and I go for walks every day and our stroller is about to kick it to the curb. I love the carseat that can attach to the stroller base for easy transistion for nap time and that he can see me when we are walking. Love this so much!!! I hope I win!

It’s hard to find the right fit for your child and for your car! I had to sell my first infant carrier because it would only fit in the middle of the backseat, once I had 2 children it was not longer possible to leave it in the middle! Very frustrating!

The hardest time I had trying to find a stroller and carseat was something durable for the carseat, many colors are very light and stain easily or fade when washed. In a stroller I wanted something very sturdy since you will use it for a longer period of time.

It is tough to find a stroller that has it all but still fits in the trunk of a car and is lightweight enough that any woman can lift it. Also even though my daughter is only 6 months I feel like she is already outgrowing her standard size car seat!

Its hard to find a car or booster seat that support my kids head when they fall asleep while riding. It just looks really uncomfortable the way their head is leaning and I have on many, many occasions stopped and used a rolled diaper or small stuffed animal or tiny pillow to help support their head.

This stroller/carseat combo would be the best thing ever to have. I enjoy walking and taking my 2 month old son along with me; however, the stroller we have now for him is a Cosco and it sucks. We live down a gravel driveway and its a challenge just to get to the actual street with this stroller. It bounces really bad and the wheels dont go in the direction Im pushing. Winning this prize would be the best gift ever and would make our walks much easier, and enjoyable for both my son and I.

The hardest thing about finding a good stroller is finding one that is not too short or to tall to push behind. By that I mean when you’re pushing your child in the stroller, you’re not hunched over. It can be a pain in the back!!

I currently use a graco system car seat and stroller but have always heard from my sister in law and my friends who are also parents about using Chico over graco. I didn’t quite have a choice in choosing which while I was pregnant and unfortunately don’t have the luxury of having money to just go buy one whenever I’d like. From reading reviews and speaking to Chico product owners, it seems to be like an easy product to use that is simple, comfortable for children and inexpensive.
