Mariah Carey Shares Her Easter Egg Painted Belly

mariah carey easter egg bump, belly art, pregnancy belly, pregnancy belly art, mariah careyMariah Carey showed off a new painted belly over the weekend. This time she sported a giant Easter egg belly featuring a blue and a pink heart as a nod to “Dem Babies” as Carey likes to call her twins-to-be. As with her previous butterfly belly art, she posted the photo on Twitter saying “HAPPY EASTER! Ummm.. READY!!!!!!!!!!!! Done and done.”

Carey is due to deliver her twins any day now, so it’s no surprise she’s ready to meet her babies, but we’ll miss her painted bellies.

Did you you paint your belly for Easter?

Kudos to Mariah for not being afraid to show off her pregnant belly. I never painted my belly, but I did wear close-fitting clothes throughout my pregnancy. I recall some gasps and chatter about me having the audacity to show off my pregnant belly. To me, giving birth is part of being a woman. Motherhood should be celebrated. We shouldn’t be ashamed of our bodies. A tasteful picture of a mommy tummy should not alarm anyone. I wrote an entry about this on my soblog 3girlsblogging.com.
