phil&teds Jogging Strollers Recalled After Serious Injuries

philted-strollerThe U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada announced today that phil&teds USA is recalling nearly 30,000 jogging strollers after three serious injuries, including a finger that was cut off, reports Consumer Ally on

According to Mitch Lipka at Consumer Ally, “the CPSC said when someone is opening or closing the phil&teds strollers they can get a finger caught in the hinge.”

The recall includes the sport v2 and classic v1 models that were sold from from May 2008 through July 2010 for $350-$450.
