After my partner being made redundant the week our son was born in February, we have had an extremely tough year! Money is very tight this year for my husband and I. I am a SAHM of 2 girls and a 17 month old boy. As an MD, normal gaming systems are the worst possible thing I can think of for my kids (other than regular computer games). But the Kinect system for XBox means movement and movement means better health. I am sure that my family would love to win this system, but if there is a family that is more in need, we would be glad for them to receive the prize! Happy holidays!

Hi I am meth addict in recovery 8 months clean. I have an amazing 4 year old son and a great 13 year old step son. This will be my 1st. X-mas clean with my son in a couple of years. With 3 kids and another on the way, with both of us unemployed, money low and tensions and stresses high, we can barely afford Christmas this year. This is a neat idea…..we homeschool our 4 kids and use the Wii for some of our P.E. activities. The remotes kind of limit some of the exercises and don’t promote proper form….it would be fantastic to try the New Kinect system! Especially if I can use it to promote the health of my family and have fun while doing it. =)

This is my first Christmas as a single mom. I have 2 kids – ages 9 and 5. They have both asked for this system but I know it’s next to impossible for me to get it for them. I’m going to school full time to be a teacher but because I live in a small town with little employment opportunities, I have been unable to secure employment with anyone. My son is autistic and has Marfan’s syndrome. He loves video games and any time I can get him moving his body is great! This would be such a blessing for him. Unfortunately the economy has hit us hard so there won’t be any other presents unless I can manage to win one of these contests-so we are keeping our chins up and prayers daily! I would love for my twins to be chosen for this. They are 5 years old and have severe hemophilia type A, a rare bleeding disorder requiring one son to get IV replacement factor daily and the other to be administered every other day.
We have an original X-Box that is on it’s last legs. We would love to get this game and system to help our boys stay active during the cold months because the exercise helps to keep muscles and joints strong thus reducing bleeding episodes.

I would love to be able to give this to my family for Christmas. We have 5 children ( 3 of them live with us) Our 2 yr old has been on a feeding tube since 3 months old and I gave up my job to give him his care. That alone has put a strain on us the last couple of years. Then my husband lost his job 2 years ago. Our kids understand that their little brother has been worth all they have had to give up, but it would be wonderful to have something for them this year.

We have been wanting to get an x-box since they came out, but we told our son that he had to work for half of the cost. He gets $6/hour when he helps my husband and has finally reach the half way mark and we had to tell him that we wont be able to get it until Febuary or March, he said he understands, but you could tell he was upset. I would love to be able to give him an x-box for christmas, he has definently earned it.

Finances are not that great and my nephews are a tad older then the easy to buy little 5 year olds LOL and this would be a perfect gift. My husband just returned home from his third combat tour to the Middle East. It’s been a very difficult year for him and the kids. This year, while my husband takes his leave, he will be donating his time to collect for toys for tots. It would be nice to have this under the tree. Our son has been begging me for it.

My son has VACTREL syndrom,one of his issues is having hypoplastic thumbs on both hands. With this, he has a very hard time using any controler based game. The Kinect is ideal for him and those like him!!!
