For an upcoming article in the magazine, we’d like moms to tell us
about the fashion or beauty products that make them feel sexy and why.
Is it a certain lacy bra or shade of red lipstick? Leave a comment here, or e-mail a description of your sexy
secret weapons along with a recent headshot to tracy.perez@meredith.com.

I like boyshorts. Porcelynne Lingerie (at etsy.com) has the most delightful and sexy pair–the Victorian Boyshorts. How can you not feel sexy in those?

I love to put on Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy spray for a little oomph. Being a stay-at-home-mom and feeling like I have drool and spit-up on me 24/7, putting it on to just get groceries helps!

Sometimes just being able to take my time getting ready makes me feel sexy. Being able to pay more attention to my hair, makeup and clothes. . .Oh, and stockings with a garter belt are hands-down sexy!

Every other day, I HAVE to exfoliate. I use the exfoliating gloves from The Body Shop (they’re only $8). You can use the gloves with your favorite body wash and slough away all the “yuckiness.” Then I slather on Body Butter from The Body Shop. For my face, I use a dash of baking soda with my regular face wash. And put on lotion fresh from the shower. I swear by this and feel like a new person every time I get to clean up!

Hands down, a great cut and highlights from my favorite stylist. Even if I don’t have time to do a great make up job, people comment on my hair, which makes me feel great. (Hey, wow, someone thinks my hair looks nice enough to ask who cuts it? I must not look as tired as I feel!) It puts a little extra spring in my step.

Getting ‘Wicked’ nail polish painted onto my nails. Especially for the fall season. Pair that with a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks and I feel great!

I love to buy and use Salon shampoo. After having a hair-cut and shampoo in a salon, I feel so good and love the smell of my hair. So, I buy some salon shampoo, I try different ones, and at home when I need a pick me up, I wash my hair with salon shampoo. I can have that fresh salon feel at home any time I need.
