Get Your Halloween On!

We are just two weeks away from Halloween…are you ready? If you’re at a loss for where to begin, I recommend starting with the front of your house—at least don’t let the neighbors know you’re in a panic. Tricking out your front door is a good place to start, and there are plenty of DIY ideas to tackle. Or, for the faint of craft, fab products are yours for the buying.

Perfect example shown here: we made this eye-popping wreath on the left—it’s a Styrofoam wreath form wrapped with an orange and black boa (boa available at Partyoasis.com). Or, for a similar look, you can buy this spider feather wreath at Pier 1 for a mere $35.

Both pack a big punch and will get your front porch off to a good start. Happy crafting/shopping!

Oh! I’ll have to note this for next year! We just had to make a classroom wreath for auction at our elementary school’s fall festival and this would’ve been an EASY and supa-cute project for them!

I went to the grocery store and bought a black sparkly garland w/ shiny orange pumpkins for a whopping $5 and a wreath from the dollar store. I wrapped the garland around the wreath and hung it up on the front door and Viola! for a whole $6 I have a weather proof front door wreath!
