September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

Y1pg9mhpdzor6pb_wmxlb7wblsrvlx37clo September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. And if you (or someone you know) is over 40, and you haven’t done so already, get screened. Prostate cancer is one of the most treatable of cancers if caught early on. The official website offers an exhaustive amount of resources, including a link with info for a free screening.

And while I’m writing about uncomfortable male health screenings, I may as well mention testicular cancer. Although it’s rare, it’s the most common cancer in American males between the ages of 15 and 34. If you’re not already examining yourself, do so. (Here’s a link with an exhaustive explanation of self exam.) And if you’re concerned afterward, see your doctor.

Dads: There’s no excuse for missing this check-up. Your family needs you, so give them the best gift you can: Many years of your love and health.

3 months ago, I gave prostate cancer very little thought. My thinking was that I was too young (55yo) to be a likely candidate.
Although I was completely without symptons, and digital examinations were favorable, a very simple PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) blood test revealed that I might have prostate cancer. A subsequent biopsy proved positive.
Last week my prostate was removed via Robot-Assisted Radical Prostatectomy. My prognosis is excellent, I feel great, and I’m looking forward to many years to come.
I encourage every male to get a PSA on a regular basis. Don’t neglect it only to find that you’ve had prostate cancer for years, and it’s spread to other parts of the body. Do it now, do it on a regular basis.

Good one John, of the people I know who have had prostate cancer all have beat it only because of early detection. Like I have told you, my doctor said that many men die WITH prostate cancer, not of it. Make sure you get the exam also so you can have a long life with Emily & Danielle

No one can ignore the importance of Avodart in shrinking the size of the prostate, lessening the need for surgery for an enlarging prostate, and in improvement of bothersome urinary symptoms.

Buy generic Levitra (Vardenafil) if you are unsatisfied with your sexual life. It is different from tadalafil as it is not taken once everyday. But it is has to be taken only before sexual intercourse and not more than once in a 24 hour period.
