Jaime King is expecting her second child with director-husband Kyle Newman. The “Hart of Dixie” actress shared a pregnancy announcement on Instagram. An oh-so-cute 16-month-old James Knight is seen with a “I’m gonna be a big brother!” sign.
The clever Insta caption read, “So excited to announce THE SEQUEL Coming later this year!! … #BabyTown2 – Created by @kyle_newman and @jaime_king. Also starring #JamesKnight”
King is one tough mama who’s been open about her struggles with infertility, multiple IVF treatments, and miscarriage. Speaking to People, King once shared, “If I’m open about it, hopefully it won’t be so taboo to talk about it.”
Despite her difficulties, King ended up conceiving naturally and giving birth to James Knight in 2013.
We’re excited for King’s latest baby blessing, and can’t wait to find out if she’ll have another awesome themed baby shower and which celeb godparents she’ll pick (maybe Taylor Swift?!).
See how other celebs shared their pregnancy announcements!

Alec Baldwin is showing off his soft side! In the first big celebrity pregnancy announcement of 2015, the former 30 Rock actor and his wife, Hilaria, revealed that they’re expecting baby number two with a super-sweet Instagram post.
Hilaria, 30, posted a family photo, taken on the beach at sunset, that features Alec kneeling on the ground, holding the couple’s 16-month-old baby daughter, Carmen, as she touches her mom’s exposed belly. She wrote:
The sun has set on 2014 and on my year of daily #hilariaypd ….2015 is going to be very exciting as we are thrilled to announce we are expecting another little addition to our family! (tadasana) #yogapostureoftheday
No word on when the new baby is due, but it seems safe to say that Hilaria and Alec will be part the parenting-two-under-two set. (Fellow expectant members of that club include Kate Middleton and Prince William, of course!)
Back in September, Alec, 55, told People that Carmen’s birth was “…a second chance for me, in a way,” and discussed the baby’s sleeping habits. “She sleeps like a rock all day. And at night she’s like, ‘Let’s have a conference.’” Hilaria added, “Now I’m getting to the point where if I don’t sleep, I’m going to start walking into walls.”
Here’s hoping that those sleepless nights have settled down, because life is about to get more happily hectic for the Baldwins. Congrats to the whole family!

And that means legendary rocker Steven Tyler of Aerosmith (recently a judge on American Idol), is about to become a grandpa again! (He’s Liv’s dad.)

That’s the question a lot of readers are asking after checking out the New York Post’s article on Manhattan publicist Tracey Kahn, who’s a single mom pregnant with her second child at the age of 51.
Tracey reasons out that she’s in good health, well-off, and excited to have two children. And she’s not alone—according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number of women having children over age 50 have increased fourfold over the past decade. And we’ve seen plenty of celebrities, including Halle Berry, Uma Thurman, Nicole Kidman and Gwen Stefani, become pregnant after age 40.
Of course, there are risks associated with late-age pregnancy, such as increased risk for type 2 diabetes, stillbirth, and placenta previa for the mom-to-be, and increased risk of Down Syndrome or other genetic issues for the baby. (But Tracey’s using donor sperm and eggs, so she bypasses those issues, at least for her child.)
How old is too old to become a new mom? I know I feel too old, and I’m just in my early 40s—despite my daughters’ pleadings for a little sister or brother. But if you’re healthy, you’re energetic, and you’re motivated—why not? Kudos to Tracey for taking on motherhood at 51.
Tell us: How old were you when you had your last child? Would you consider becoming pregnant over 50?
Take our quiz to find out if you’re ready for another baby. And don’t forget to like Everything Pregnancy to keep up with the very latest pregnancy-related news!
