Vanessa and Nick Lachey Are Expecting Baby No. 2!

Tuesday, July 15th, 2014

Nick, Vanessa and Camden LacheyWhen Parents interviewed Vanessa and Nick Lachey for our June 2014 cover, the cute couple proclaimed, “We definitely want more kids” when asked if their almost-2-year-old son, Camden, would be a big brother anytime soon.

And back in February, Nick told People magazine that he’d love to have a daughter, saying, “I do want a girl. I think there’s something emotional about having a daughter that I definitely want to experience.”

Well, it looks like they’re getting what they want! As Nick announced in a sweet tweet, the couple are expecting a baby girl!

Nick and his 98 Degrees bandmate-brother Drew are two and a half years apart in age, and he told Parents that he thought that was a perfect age gap. “You don’t want kids to have to share the same group of friends,” he said, while Vanessa added, “But you don’t want them so far apart that they have nothing in common.” While we don’t know how far along Vanessa is, exactly, it looks like Camden and his baby sis will have a similar age difference, which will suit their parents just fine.

Congrats to the family!

Alyssa Milano’s Gender Reveal Video! She’s Having…

Friday, May 16th, 2014

When Alyssa Milano next hears the pitter-patter of little feet, they’ll likely be covered in pink booties. That’s right–she’s having a girl! The former Who’s the Boss? star will soon have a boy and a girl, when her “little sweet baby girl” joins son Milo, 2, later this year.

Alyssa shared the news on her website from the dressing room of her ABC series, Mistresses. “David, Milo, and I could not be happier,” she said in the video (below). “Truly, we could not be happier. So exciting!”

This isn’t the first time Alyssa has shared baby news with fans. On March 21, she Tweeted: “Ahem! Click here for some BIG, HUGE, HAPPY news,” which took followers to a video on her website, where she announced that she and husband David Bugliari were expecting a second child. “We are so happy to share with you that Milo is going to be a big brother!”

Two weeks later, she shared a bumpie on Instagram with the caption: “The bump,” explaining the size of her belly with the hashtags “#shortpeoplecarrybig #noitsnottwins.”

Her second pregnancy was no surprise to fans who’ve been following her mamahood journey. She told People last fall that she wanted to have another baby, so Milo would have someone to grow up with. “My brother and I are so close, and I can’t imagine not giving my son that kind of relationship,” she said.

Congrats to Alyssa, David, and Milo!

Pregnant Kelly Clarkson’s Birthday Wish for Her Baby

Monday, April 28th, 2014

They say when you make a birthday wish, as you blow out your candles, don’t tell anyone what you wished for or it won’t come true. Hopefully, for mama-to-be Kelly Clarkson’s sake, the same isn’t true about making birthday wish tweets—because she recently announced on her Twitter feed: “It’s my birthday!!!! For my birthday I have asked my unborn baby girl to sleep through the night and laugh a lot when she comes out.”

Isn’t that what every new mom wants—especially the sleeping through the night part? Good luck to Kelly, because it sounds like she has a very active baby on board.

She recently tweeted: “There’s something very cool yet very creepy about a baby moving inside your belly. Regardless, I’m pretty sure she’s gonna be a gymnast.”

Though she hasn’t made her due date known, Kelly announced that she was pregnant in November 2013, and in January 2014 she revealed that she was having a little girl, so she’s thought to be due in late May/early June—which is basically right around the corner!

I have no doubt Kelly’s going to be an awesome mom. She’s getting plenty of experience with her husband Brandon Blackstock’s two kids from a previous marriage, Savannah, 11, and Seth, 7. Oh, and her puppy, Wyatt. She says he likes to be held like a baby, which is excellent practice for the near future!

Gender Reveal! Mila and Ashton are Having a…

Wednesday, April 16th, 2014

Last month news broke that Mila Kunis is expecting her first child with fiancé Ashton Kutcher. Now Us Weekly is reporting that the longtime friends and former That ‘70s Show costars are expecting what’s sure to be a beautiful baby girl! Just think: Mila’s stunning blue eyes with Ashton’s killer cheekbones and infectious smile. Not to mention the sense of humor she’ll probably have with these two as her parents.

While Mila—who was recently crowned Best Villain at the MTV Movie Awards—isn’t as much of a girlie-girl as her That ‘70s Show character, Jackie, I can’t help but think how Jackie would have reacted if she were the one with the baby news. I’d like to think she’d be jumping up and down, and would go right out and buy a closetful of feminine onesies and frilly, lacy pink dresses for her little princess and rows and rows of shoes.

No word on whether Mila has embarked on a super-sized baby shopping spree just yet, but sources say she loves being pregnant and that she and Ashton are so happy to be bringing a little one into the world together. Ashton is even said to be setting up playdates with his former That ‘70s Show castmate, Danny Masterson, and his daughter Fianna Francis.

It’s the first child for both, but Ashton has plenty of experience around girls, thanks to his marriage to ex Demi Moore, where he was a bonus dad to her three daughters. He may not have diaper duty experience, but he’s definitely versed in teenage girl problems!

Boy or Girl for Kelly Clarkson? Big Gender Reveal!

Tuesday, January 21st, 2014

It’s only been two months since singer Kelly Clarkson announced she and hubby Brandon Blackstock were pregnant. Soon after she said she had a “gut feeling” she was having a girl, telling Parade: “I’m totally gonna have a girl. I’m manifesting it! And when I have a girl, you’re gonna be like, ‘That chick knew it!’” she joked.

Well, that chick knew it! Or manifested it! Or is just a really good guesser (well, it was a 50-50 chance she’d be right—there are only two options), because she is in fact having a daughter!

“We just found out we’re having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!” she announced on Twitter Monday.

She already told Ellen DeGeneres that she and Brandon have chosen a unisex baby name that they were planning to use whether they were having a boy or girl. But no one’s getting  that name out of her.

“We’re not saying because I don’t want someone to steal my baby’s name,” said Kelly. “We named our kid before we were even pregnant!”

PS Musical geniuses Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are expecting their third boy later this year. Maybe there’s a duet in these two kids’ futures!
